The Cat tails rippled peacefully in the breeze as the sun rose. The dragonflies hummed their normal tunes as they danced in the water, and the bees were all cuddled together on a huge sunflower.
While this calm sight was still in place, a young rabbit hopped up to to a grassy field. As it watched the activity with interest,a bee flew a little closer to the rabbit.
The rabbit's eyes widened with curious and bend down in a crouch to watch it closer. Then slowly put up her paw to touch it when-
"Sister, there you are, I was wondering what happened to you"
The bee immediately took off like a startled bird. The rabbit sighed with annoyance and turned to the rabbit behind her.The rabbit behind her was slightly older and taller and she had a calm but cautious facial expression.
"Nathalay, you interrupted me and my new friend's conversation." The younger doe said annoyed.
"New friend huh? I don't see a new friend, just a bee. Well before it flew away." Nathalay chuckled softly at her sister's annoyed scowl.
"Honestly Zidumni, isn't there anything you can do without spending time with bugs. Some other outskirters are going to the sand run to nibble the clover, you can come if you'd like."
Zidumni gave Nathalay a smile and nodded her head. "Of course I'll come, there's nothing else to do anyway."
They both hopped to down the green hill and past a small pit for droppings. And soon enough got to sand run to an opened meadow. Other outskirts were there, munching on the grass, clover, and some flowers.
They found a cozy spot and started to eat when a butterfly flew over their heads. Zidumni, eyes locked on the butterfly, started to follow it while back up to get a good look at it.
But while doing that, she bumped into a group of rabbits, who were eating nearby. One of the rabbits turned to glare at Zidumni. "Watch it!" Zidumni turned a gave an apology look, "Sorry." And hopped back to her sister.
The rabbit grumbled but didn't say anymore. The rabbit beside him, then said, "It's only Zidumni, don't grumble so much Lemon drops."
"Zidumni or not, she should pay attention.'' Lemon drops said before they both continued eating.
Another rabbit who overheard them, then said, "It's not her fault really, she's just a day dreamer."
"Rabbits shouldn't day dream at all, they can get in a lot of trouble that way." Lemon drops said while eating. "Nathalay should be a better example and teach her, instead of letting her do as she pleases."
Nathalay paused as she ate when Lemon drops said that. He's right she thought, I should be a little careful with Zidumni, she's just being careless with everything, a little too careless.
Nathalay watched her sister eating, to her surprise Zidumni didn't give any expression of hurt or anger. She does hear them though, but she doesn't care. Strong power from something so small.
No sooner as she thought that, Zidumni got up and hopped to the hill she was once at. Nathalay followed her soon after.
Zidumni sat at the top and Nathalay sat besides her soon after . The feild was quiet and most of the rabbits were going back to their burrows.
After a long pause, Zidumni said "Why do the other rabbits talk about me so much, I didn't do anything wrong."
"I know you didn't but, people judge and talk about things," Nathalay said calmly "still, try to ignore them, they'll go away eventually."
"I tried, but the rumors go stronger, it never stops." Zidumni said angrily "I'm sick of it, and they also put that scorn on you as well, aren't you mad at that?"
"I'm not mad, but it does annoy me when rabbits question my ways of taking care of you, still let's try our best of ignoring, hey let's go to the small pool, I think we can rest there for a bit, before heading back."
Zidumni nodded and padded off to the pond that lived there longer than the rabbits Warren. Nathalay suggested that it was made by the children of El-arhairah after their father died to join Frith.
As they found the pond, they settled down and slept. The water of the pond was still and quiet, just like their surroundings. A butterfly landed on a flower and took off to sky, but the two rabbits didn't seem to notice.
