Chapter 5: Together

Another miraculous morning! Still alive and breathing while the morning air goes through our lungs, I guess I'm the one who woke up first WAHAHAHA, Elize and Ardval look cute together and they'll forever will. 

I met Elize before in 6th Grade, she was a bully and no one dares to challenge her in a fist fight since she can know you out in seconds, I don't even know how I got along well with her since she picks on people sometimes, I was a defenseless kid back then and a lot of my classmates likes to pick on me but Elize came on to help me then fend off the bullies, so I think that's where our friendship started which is surprising, we've been classmates until 10th grade. It's funny to think about it that a girl can knock you out in seconds. Sorry WAHAHA, I just can't get that out of my head, and I feel weak because of how defenseless I was back then, but not anymore!! 

After my mother's death, I still wonder where is my father and he's liable for everything's that happened, I never forget and forgive for what he's done...  For me to forgive him is too much... "H-hey, are you alright?" Oh! Elize! You're finally awake! How's your sleep? "I-Isn't it still early?" I love how she doesn't complain on just sleeping on a cardboard box on the street, O-oh! right! I'll go back to sleep in a moment, "I-If you don't sleep I'll knock you out and make you sleep forever instead!" S-she's quite intimidating to be honest WAHAHAHAH, I'll just go to sleep before I go straight to the dirt hole WAHAHAHA.

I cannot help but to cry again after remembering my mother's death since I wasn't there to save her or do anything, but Elize came to me and hugged me, "Shhh~ it's going to be alright, remember, there are some things that are inevitable, it already happened, there's no way to turn back time, let's just promise your mother that you're going to get out of this, okay?" She looked at me with a smile and just nodded because I don't have anything to say and just hugged her back tightly, I never really thought that she has a soft side despite bullying boys, I can't believe that I'm the first one to see my best friend's soft side.

I just realised that I still have my savings before the company who I'm working in got closed, I managed to save up to £20 which is not a lot but if I manage to budget this I might get lucky by buying a lottery ticket and win a fortune! B-but the only thing that is stopping me is that it's one in a million... I don't think I can hit a jackpot... Huff~ It would be such a waste if I spend it to a lottery ticket without even winning a single penny, I would rather take this money to fill our grumblings stomachs, and might as well look for a job that are willing to accept someone like us, that's what I'm worried for if I don't get a job we would starve to death if my budget completely runs dry, I must get moving sooner or later before it happens.

I'm a socially awkward guy so basically job interviews are a nightmare for me HAHAHAH it's quite funny to be honest, but Elize is teaching me how to ease up a bit since she's the best in public speaking in our former school, so that's probably my best bet, I've never been so grateful in my life to have both Elize and Ardval by my side, I could thank God for this everyday and night because they gave me the moral support I just need to survive this harsh situation we're in.
