It was my childhood best friend who came looking for me since from when I got kicked out of the house, her name is Elize "W-where the hell have you been?!" She runs to me and hugged me tightly not minding my appearance nor my disgusting smell... "I've been looking for you for a long time!" I nodded and as I began to break down and cry on her shoulder, "I-I'm sorry!!!" I shouted at her. She patted me on the back saying "It's alright, at least you're here now." She smiles gently as she looks at me.
"So, how's your life living on the streets?" She asked me curiously, "It's tough but I have no choice HAHAHA"
She frowns as she hold my cheek, "I'll help you through this okay?" I was shocked and a lot of questions are roaming around my head when I saw her eyes slowly crying, does she got kicked out and left on the streets as well? I'm a coward to ask until she realised that I might be curious on what happened. "You might be curious on what happened to me but I failed to pass my class and my parents labelled me as a failure. I did all the best as I can and gave everything, but I guess it can't be helped." I don't know what's the best thing I can possibly do so I just gave her a hug.
Ardval kept barking at her for a while now, but I think Eliza doesn't mind it HAHAHAH they actually look cute together in my opinion. "Hey Darcy! Where have you found this dog?" A-ah! Ardval? I just found him on the streets while he was eating rubbish and leftover food, I felt bad for him and decided to adopt him, "He didn't attack you or anything?" Well I mean he barked at me aggressively a few times but he never did attacked me nor bite me, he's quite playful too and he's the best playmate that I've ever had "Ohhhh!! It must be fun spending time with him!" I couldn't agree more~
I never really thought that I would see my best friend with me, I feel bad for what happened to her, I hope that someday her and I can get out of this miserable situation we are in now, I couldn't help but hug Elize tightly, "H-hmm? Is there something wrong?" We can get out of this puddle of mud together, as I said with a smile, she smiled back as she hugged me back. I'm just here scared of what will happen in the future but a comfort that made me feel safe and secure are on Elize's arms, how would I survive without her, hehehe it's such a wonderful feeling to have someone by my side and come with you through your ups and downs, I'm really grateful to have my best friend by my side.
I cannot even count how many months I've been on the street, but with Elize and Ardval by my side, the time doesn't matter as long as I have them, they're the ones who makes me safe and happy, no matter what fate brings us. Having this thought in mind makes me want to go even further, soaring higher than a golden eagle up in the sky while these flames in my heart blazes through. I'm starting to be proud of myself since I never knew that I would survive this far HAHAHA, but for now, let's face everything's on our way.
