A/N: Before I boarded the bus to the ski resort I decided I wanted to do a Christmas story. It's snowy and beautiful in Korea and it's also absolutely freezing.

The first segment is dedicated to Isaac, Pao Sen, Victoria and Olivia, Cherie, Kelvin and Uncle Tay. To whom I would not have enjoyed the ski festival without undoubtedly.

They would never see this but, oh well. ;)

Part (1): Chloe's POV

I continued to stroll along the streets, half-half-heartedly listening to Brandy's endless chattering.

It was snowing season, and today powder-like snow was floating down from the sky, coating every surface with a bright white layer.

The windows of the shops we were walking by were mostly frosted so all we could view were blurry shapes and colours. It was a hassle for window shoppers like Brandy and myself but if you asked me, it was kind of pretty.

"Ouch!" I rubbed my arm and turned to Brandy. "Why'd you hit me for?"

She shot me a flat look. "You were daydreaming. Again."

I grinned, unabashedly. "That's me. The daydreamer."

She tutted to herself, feigning annoyance as she launched herself in yet another escapade.

We decided to stop in Holly's Coffee, a wooden-floored shop with an extremely enticing aroma. I shivered as the warm heat surrounded me and I took my freezing hands out from my pockets to thaw them out.

Brandy plonked herself in a two-people booth, putting her coat over the cushioned chair. She gestured at me to come forward with her before quickly scurrying to the long line of customers.

I decided against taking my jacket off since I was still cold but tried to shake the flakes of snow in my hair off. I failed miserably and took my wallet to join Brandy in the queue.

"Can you help me get the snow out of my hair?" I pointed at my head.

She held in a laugh, the amusement obvious on her face as she picked out the bits of white.

"You're lucky you're a blonde, it's not that obvious for you." I referred to her white-blonde mop of hair.

She dusted off the final layer in my hair. "Well, your dark hair is really pretty."

I shrugged at the compliment. Although it was flattering, this was probably Brandy being overly polite.

I scowled at my wallet when I found another note inside it. It was the eighth one, I think, since September. Now was December, which means three months had passed.

"And why are you glaring daggers at your wallet for?" Brandy chuckled.

I held up the slip of paper and she nodded knowingly. "What's it say?"

Before I could read it and tell her, we had reached the cashier. We placed out orders. Hers, a normal expresso, and mine, a white chocolate latte.

I sipped it before climbing back into my seat, hissing as I burnt my tongue. I removed the stupid puny straw, then peered through the hole. I had no idea how people drank the hot stuff through such a small opening - straw or not - without burning themselves. I popped open the cap and brought my mouth to the hot, liquid heaven.

"You got a little moustache there."

I wiped my mouth. "Thanks."

I knew she was waiting for me to read the most recent note so I opened it and studied it.

"Chloe:

Don't you think the snow is awesome? It's a little chilly but it makes everything look pretty. Please respond to this note, I'd really like that. You can pass it through Dave, I promise he won't say a word.
