Chapter 5

I had everything planned out today. Kim was going to meet up with Rina to convince herto be highflyers personal live streamer. I was going to a café before i head to their training house.

I sat outside thae café eating a vanilla cupcake.  Ibthen got started by King. "So you think you can just wake up one day and claim to be a manager. It takes hardwork." King said. He was leaning close to be by the opposite side of the table so that no one could hear. "Look here the previous manager when through a lot before getting chosen by highflyers. So what makes yours different. "He said. I didn't know if I should get angry or guilty. Everyone was staring at us and in a second there was a flash of light. King and i faced the direction but no one was there. I had a bad feeling about this. King just walked away and climbed into his car.

I entered the training house and the first thing i see is an angry Kim on top of King. Kim was punching King. Everyone was trying to stop the fight except for Mic and Rush . Rush was happy about the sce2. Mic just didn't care. Rina was here too. Jim must have managed to convince her. She was shocked at the scene.  "Kim!" i shouted. Kim got off a bleeding King. "What is going on here?" I asked. Mic walked up to me and handed me his phone. I was shocked to see a picture of King and i on the internet of us at the café and it states we are a couple. "This isn't true!" I protest. 

Everyone was trying to figure out a solution out of this. We couldn't use Kim or Rina because people will just claim tgat must have bribe them or something.  "It is better we do nothing and let the media believe that you guys are a couple. By the way this team will get back their fans." Rina said.  Kim and i immediately disagreed. Kim and i spent most of our times together so i don't blame him for being overprotective over me. I was wondering why everyone was silent. I know King was he got beaten but i wondered why the others didn't object neither did Mic.  "Kim and Sofi wait for me in my room. Please. "He said.

I sat on Mic's bed waiting for him while Kim was walking around. He was murmuring to himse2. The door opened and Kim and i both stared at Mic as he entered. "Mic what is the meaning of this? You can't just put our sister in this madness. "Kim said.
"Look i understand ypur emotions but this isn't about fame it's about hope. Look here i know those guys out there. They have worked so hard to get where they are. I don't want rhem to give up. If makinf up a story would help then i am willing to go through this. Won't you help your brother out. "Mic said.  I got so emotional. I have never seen Mic care for anyone before. "Okay brother." I said. Kim was still against this but he assured me if King hurts me he will break his bones.

Everyone was seated on the couch staring at me as i stood with a clipboard in my hand. "Guys i arranged a meeting with the press for nect week to introduce myself as your new manager. I signed up for mini matches to get you guys prepared for the big ones. Next week guys are going against the megas. "I said. That whole day iwe all trained. King hasn't said a word to me that day and i was glad.

Kim and i were about to head home. I was about to enter Kim's car but i was stopped by Fres. "Sofi i'm sorry for not coming to the dinner you invited me for. Is there anyway i make up for it." Fres said. I smiled at him. Fres was really a gentleman. "It's ok Fres , no need. "I said and then entered Fres's car.
