I made the effort to stay calm as the elevator made its way up to the top floor. They were waiting for me, and I tried my best to hurry as soon as J.A.R.V.I.S told me, Mr. Stark needed me. The elevator seemed as though it was taking its precious time, but it gave me time to think of the worst-case scenario. I couldn't mess this up, more so I didn't want to. I can't disappoint them. I look down at my black stiletto heels and my black high waisted wide straight cut pants. I had a white bow-tie neck silk blouse, as for my hair, it was straight light brown that went down to my belly button, flowing in the front. I thank God I wore pants because in this situation a skirt would've never have worked. The elevator door dings as it opens and I quickly jog and make my way to the main lounge, the top floor was bright as the natural light-soaked in. As I enter the area, I hear slight groans cause by laughter in the room, I show myself and Mr. Stark notices me first."Elles- Dr. Ciel!" Mr. Starks exclaims as he shakes his head catching his mistake. I didn't mind him calling me by my first name.
"Hi, I got here as soon as I heard J.A.R.V.I.S. Who's the most urgent right now?" I say worried and nervously as I start to put on surgical gloves and grab the aid kit.
"I guess Clint seems to be the most urgent." He replies back with a faint smile. Mr. Stark looked fine, thank goodness.
I make my way to Clint and give him a slight assurance smile before I look at his injuries. He had a deep cut on his right knee and forearm. I grab the disinfecting liquids and gauze pad as I pour some into a bowl and generously damp it. I carefully grab it and dab it on the wound, causing Clint to hiss.
"Oh, where is my brain? Everyone this is Dr. Ciel, Dr. Ciel this is everyone. She is our personal doctor available 24/7. Well, not 24/7 but you get my point." He adds.
"Hello, I hope I can help in any way possible.." I say without looking up, too concentrated on disinfecting the wound. I grab the surgical thread as I open a sterilized needle from the package getting ready to suture the wounds.
"Thank you, ma'am, for taking care of us." A low and calm voice says. I look up and it was Steve Rodgers, I smile and he nods sweetly smiling back.
"There's not one doubt on my mind that you will help us greatly," Natasha says smiling brightly, I've never seen her smile but it was beautiful.
"I probably might always wake up to you instead of coming to you. Thanks in advance." Bruce says as he chuckles sadly. I got his point, whenever he turned into the Hulk, he always fainted and it was quite hard for him.
"Aha, thank you... I'm flattered." I blushed as I pushed my glasses up as it was falling down on the bridge of my nose. I was almost done stitching Clint's knee, mindfully preparing for his forearm.
I brought out another dose of numbing as I saw his expression."You can tell me if you feel pain, I can always add another dose of numbing," I say as I give him another shot. "I can't read minds, but I can read expressions." I chuckle.
"Thank you." Clint smiles and laughs.
"I thought you, Midgardian healers wear a white coat like Banner over here. Is she- are you not a real healer?" Thor asks, quite literally confused and concerned.
"Uh, just because she's not wearing a white coat doesn't mean she's not qualified as a 'healer', Point Break." Tony says as he brings his fingers in the air and exaggerates 'healer' with quotation marks, while shaking his head.
I look up and laugh quietly, I couldn't help myself. Everyone seemed chill and I didn't want to act weird in front of everyone. I start numbing Clint's forearm and examine the size of the wound, it wasn't big and I guessed maybe 4 stitches would be good enough.
