Recap
"M'lady." Bill joked, extending his arm for Dipper to grab.
"Such a gentleman." Dipper said sarcastically, linking arms with Bill. The two walked out of the restaurant laughing at their antics and headed to Dippers car.
Dipper released his arm to grab his key, and Bill walked to the opposite side of the car as Dipper unlocked it, one thought going through both of their heads.

This should be fun.

The drive to the ice cream shop was peaceful. The radio was on, but only loud enough to hear if they were quiet, which they were. It was still decently bright out, making Dipper wonder if he possibly could, or should, take Bill to the water tower for sunset like he had planned to do with Eric.
Looking over he saw a seemingly distracted Bill looking out the window at all the buildings, although Gravity Falls wasn't completely up to date, it had definitely modernized since his first visit almost 5 years ago.
Bill had noticed Dipper's reflection staring at him, and turned around to stare back, smiling.
Blushing, Dipper looked away and kept his eyes on the road for the remainder of the ride.

When they finally arrived, both exited the car seeing that nobody else was around, although it wasn't too surprising since the ice cream shop was almost in the middle of nowhere.
Walking up to order, they were told they could only get the ice cream to go as they were going to close shortly.
Dipper saw it as the perfect opportunity to take Bill to the water tower, since it was walking distance from the shop and even visible from it.
"You wanna take the ice cream to the water tower?" Bill asked as they sat on Dippers car waiting for their order.
Dipper looked straight at Bill wide eyed, it was almost like he had read his thoughts, but that was impossible.
"Y-you go to the water tower?" Dipper asked, shock clear in his voice.
"All the time, it's where I go to think and get away from everything. Plus no one is ever up there." Bill explained.
"I do too! Everyone thinks it's dangerous so it's like I have it all to myself. How have we never run into each other there?!" Dipper asked, excited and a little confused as to how they hadn't met sooner.
"Maybe we just go at different times." Bill shrugged, looking over at the man signaling to come and grab their ice cream. "But either way, at least we still met right?" Bill smiled before turning around and going to grab their desert.
Dipper couldn't help but blush, he couldn't believe he was actually starting to almost fall for a guy he doesn't even know.

After both boys had their ice cream they began the walk to the water tower.
"How come I've never met you before? Do you go to a different high school or something?" Dipper asked, although there was really only one high school in Gravity Falls.
"Uh, I dropped out of high school." Bill admitted, focusing a little too hard on the ice cream as to not look at Dipper.
"Wait really? I would've heard if someone dropped out. When did it happen?" Dipper knew he was probably pushing too hard, but it genuinely confused him as to how he managed to never meet this boy in a town as small as Gravity Falls.
"I uh, I dropped out my second year, school just didn't seem to be doing any good for me so I left." He replied, a little too nervously.
"Do you live outside of Gravity Falls or something?" Dipper continued with the questions, something didn't add up, and he loved solving a good mystery.
"You ask a lot of questions Dipper." Bill laughed.
"It just seems so weird that I've never seen you before. I mean, in a town like this everybody knows everybody."
The two arrived at the ladder of the water tower, both had finished their ice creams by that point.
Bill climbed up first, followed by Dipper moments after.
"I've never left Gravity Falls." Bill suddenly said, reaching the top of the tower and leaning down to help Dipper up.
"What?" Dipper asked, confused as to why he mentioned that.
"You asked if I lived outside of Gravity Falls, I don't. I've never even left this stupid town." Bill replied, his voice sounding more sad than before. He sat down, leaning against the tower staring at the setting sun.
"How have you never left? There's a whole world out there and your telling me you haven't even seen it?" Dipper asked, sitting down next to him.
"There's just this, I don't know, I guess you could say... obstacle, that's stopping me from leaving. I've learned to accept it, there's nothing for me anywhere else anyways." Bill still refused to look at Dipper, afraid of the apologetic look he was probably receiving.
Dipper didn't respond, he was more confused than ever at this point, but figured from the tone of Bill's voice he probably didn't want to continue the conversation.
Although he didn't realize it, Dipper hadn't taken his eyes off of Bill. The way the suns last rays made Bill's hair shine like gold and his blue eyes brighter, it was like Dipper was sitting next to a god.
Bill noticed and turned to face Dipper, making them both realize just how close the two actually were to each other.
Dipper wanted nothing more in that moment than to just kiss him.
He hesitated, before slowly leaning in closer, until he was a mere 2 inches away from just completely going for it.
"W-wait." Bill suddenly moved and stood up, walking towards the edge of the tower looking straight ahead.
Dipper was confused, embarrassed and a little sad, but mostly confused. He stayed where he was.
"D-did I read all this wrong or something?" Dipper asked, subconsciously scooting a little closer towards the ladder.
"No not at all! That's the problem..." Bill said turning around, earning a confused and almost angry look from Dipper. He had been confused a majority of the night and it seemed every question he asked only led to more and he wasn't even getting any answers.
"That doesn't make any sense." Dipper stood up to stand in front of Bill, he wanted answers.
"Look I really like you-"
"Then what's the problem?" Dipper asked, getting inpatient with the whole thing.
"I don't want to kiss you without you knowing everything. I-I've been lying to you..." Bill confessed, voice getting quieter and more nervous.
"About what?" Dipper asked, taking a small step backwards with the slightest fear in the back of his mind that something bad was about to happen.
"About... who I am." Dipper was wondering if there was something he was missing, a piece somewhere from the night that he possibly skipped over that could make the whole situation a lot clearer.
He hesitated. "Ok then, who are you?" Dipper asked cautiously but eagerly, ready to hear something that would hopefully tie everything together.
This time it was Bill who hesitated, he looked down at the town, the only light coming from the buildings, before looking back at Dipper.
"I'll give you one guess... Pinetree." The name instantly clicked in Dippers mind, he took a few steps back, eyes wide and full of fear.
"You- you're..."
"Bill Cipher, yeah." Bill confessed, looking everywhere but at Dipper, who couldn't stop looking at Bill.
"H-how are you here?! How are you..." Dipper couldn't even finish the question, he was too shocked at the fact that a flying dorito was now a surprisingly attractive guy, and that he was on a date with said guy.
"Human?" Bill asked, finishing Dippers question. "It was my punishment for not fulfilling Weirdmageddon, I was banished here a year later and have been like this ever since." Bill explained, finally looking at Dipper, who looked as if he had a million questions but didn't know how or what to ask.
"Look I know this is confusing and all..." Bill tried taking an experimental step towards Dipper who in turn backed away even more.
"Yeah you think?! I'm on a date with the demon who tried to kill my family, I-I almost kissed you..." Dipper covered his mouth with his hand, shaking his head. "I-I got to go." He turned around to leave before Bill grabbed his hand.
"Pinetree wait, just let me explain." He pulled Dipper a little too close for Dippers liking, who quickly removed his hand from Bill's and backed away.
"E-explain what? How you saw me alone in a restaurant and thought 'Hey it's Pinetree how about I mess with him and his feelings-'"
"It's not like that!" Bill interrupted, taking yet another step towards Dipper, who didn't back away.
"How'd you even know that I was there?? Are you watching me again? Waiting for the perfect opportunity to fuck with my life?!" Dippers voice was rising with his anger levels, dozens of theories as to how and why Bill was there in that moment with him.
"Just listen. Ok yes I have been watching you, but it was only to protect you. A-and when I saw you in the restaurant and figured out what happened I couldn't just leave you there alone so I decided to help you." Bill explained, looking at Dipper who had an expression saying to continue. "And then I actually had fun with you tonight, and I didn't want you to do something I knew you'd regret, so I knew I had to tell you the truth before it went any further." Bill concluded, waiting for Dippers answer.
Dipper was conflicted. On one hand, this was Bill Cipher, a dream demon who tried to take over the world and kill his family. But on the other hand...
Dipper looked at Bill, trying to find any sign that the guy was lying; a hidden smile or a hint in his body language. But Dipper found nothing, just what seemed like a normal person looking for forgiveness.
Hesitating, Dipper took a step closer to Bill, who seemed surprised by the action but welcomed it, taking a step closer as well, until they were just as close as when they were sitting down.
Before he could convince himself that it was a bad idea, Dipper quickly leaned in, planting his lips on Bill's. After a moment, the shock wore off and Bill kissed back, wrapping his arms around Dippers waist as his went around Bills neck.
When they separated, Bill stared at Dipper with a confused look, not that Dipper saw it as he was looking down in embarrassment.
The two were once again left in silence, the stars were visible at this point letting Dipper know it was time for the date to end and for him to get home. Picking up on this, Bill teleported the two to the front of the Mystery Shack.
Dipper awkwardly removed himself from Bills hold before anyone in the house noticed them, and giving Bill a small smile he started heading towards the shack.
"Would you wanna do this again sometime?" Bill asked quickly before Dipper had opened the door.
Dipper slowly turned around smiling, blush obvious on his face even in the dark.
"I'd like that." Dipper replied and nodded, before opening the door and entering the shack, a smile so wide it hurt.

That was fun.
