Chapter 8

Marinette's POV
I woke up to Tikki shouting at me before my alarm can start annoying me. I went to shower while she got my outfit ready for today. I stepped out of the shower and did my daily routine before going to the lobby where I am met with my friend group, Travis, and Emylee. Emylee did most of the talking throughout the entire tour of the city. "Alright we are going to Lamb Enterprise. My cousin runs it and she said she could meet us today. Tomorrow you will be with the rest of the class. I just wanted to give you a day where you didn't need to actually be with them." Emylee says. I smile up at her in thanks and after the tour of the city we go to Lamb Enterprises. We meet her cousin and take a tour of the building. Then we go back to the hotel for dinner and to rest. I stayed up to work on the dresses for the gala for my friends.

Emylee's POV
I decided to go on a walk even though we just got back from the tour. I went to a cafe and ordered some tea and a macaroon. I payed and sat down at table near the back, but close to the doors to see who walks in and out of the cafe. I spot my cousins enter the cafe with a male with black hair and blue eyes. They noticed I was here and came over once they got their order. I took a sip of my tea as they asked if they could join me. I nod showing that it was fine. "Emylee this is Bruce! Bruce this is Emylee!" Blue says. "Hmmm. Nice to meet you Bruce." I say holding out a hand. "Like wise Emylee." He says reaching out to shake hands with me. I look over at Blue and nudge her slightly. She looks over with curious eyes. "Selina came by my hotel room last night. I suggest you ask her out soon. You are soulmates after all, and don't tell me that you can't do it." I say giving her a look to not challenge me. "Oh my god! Please do ask her out! I hate hearing you complain about your crush on her!" Purple says causing Blue to blush in embarrassment. "So, how's your business going Emylee?" Blue asks. "Mine or Purple's business?" I ask. "Yours since I already know about Purple's business." Blue says. "It's going great, but with the new project I'm working on our contract with Gabriel Agreste might end." I say. "What?! Why?" Purple asks. "We might get a contract with MDC if the people choose her designs over his." I say. "That's so cool! Especially with how popular MDC has gotten in the past four days." Blue says. I look over at her with my eyes before turning to Bruce. "You've been awfully quiet. What's on your mind Bruce?" I ask. He looks up from his plate or lap and turns his gaze to me. "Just thinking about doing something later is all." He says smiling. I nod also smiling and turn my attention to my watch. I see that it is almost 5 pm, so I excuse myself to go back to the hotel.

I'm sitting in the living room reading a book when a sudden knock comes from the French doors that lead out to the balcony. I open the doors and come face to chest with the Dark Knight. I look up at him crossing my arms with a raised eye brow. "Is their something you needed?" I ask. "Your cousin Blue wanted me to check up on you." He says. "Okay then Batman." I say. "May I come in?" He asks. I move out of the way and gesture for him to come in. He steps into the living room and walks over to the couch. I close the balcony doors and go over to the armchair to sit down. "So, what did you want to talk about?" I ask. Batman turns to me and crosses his arms. "Well what do you want to talk about?" He asks me. This would be the best time to introduce the situation in Paris. And maybe set up a meeting for the miraculous team and the Justice League. "Have you been to the Watch Tower recently?" I ask. Batman frowns and shakes his head. "Well their is a situation in Paris that could use your expertise. There are two villains in Paris causing emotional trauma and attacking everyone everyday to obtain the miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir. Ladybug's miraculous is for creation and curing the city while Chat Noir's miraculous causes any object he touches to decay. There are more heroes than just them. Night Fury, Firefly, Honey Bee which was originally Queen Bee, Carapace, Bunnyx, Ryuko, King Monkey, Pegasus, and Viperion. Ladybug retired Rena Rouge early for reasons to come up in the future." I say. He looks at me intensely. "How long as this been going on? What age did Ladybug and Chat Noir start?" Batman asks. "It has been four years since Hawkmoth started attacking Paris. Both Chat Noir and Ladybug were around 13 to 14 when the attacks started. No prior training too." I say. "WHAT?!?!" He asks jumping up. "Calm down Batman. Firefly and Night Fury trained them after the first fight. They still undergo training as of right now." I say. He breaths in and out for two minutes and sits back down. "Is there a way for me to meet with them?" He asks. "Yes, they will be in Gotham for about four weeks. They will most likely run into you on one of the weeks." I say. He nods and bids me a goodbye before leaving to either patrol again, or go back to the Batcave. I sigh and go to my room to change into pjs.

(Her pajamas).

Once I am done changing, I go into the bathroom to do my nightly routine; then head to bed.

Bruce's POV
I am pacing in the Batcave in front of the Batcomputer. Why didn't anyone tell me about the calls for help in Paris?!?! This is very serious and I need to talk with the team. I grumble taking off the cowl to my suit before running a hand through my hair. I close my eyes for a bit and catch a glimpse of my soulmate that oddly looks like Blue's cousin. I change and go up to my room to sleep. Goodnight soulmate of mine.

Jason: Uh huh, what about the other crossovers?

Damian: Tt, probably stopped working on them.

Me: nope! Just going through all of them, or the ones I get ideas for.
