Chapter 14

Adrien's POV
I woke up feeling a bit better from last night. I looked around to see that I'm in someone's bed. I left towards the living room to see Emylee on the couch. I must've fallen asleep on the couch and moved to her bed. I should wake her up before she freaks out. I go over to her and shake her slightly. "Mom? Wake up please." I say. She groans while waking up before she smiles at me. She gets up and makes breakfast for the two of us. We eat and I go back to my room with her following after she changed into a new outfit. I went through my clothes and put on a Catwoman themed outfit. "I see we decided to match today." She says after I stepped out of hotel room. I look her over to see she is right.

(Me: her outfit. The shoes from the left, the pants from the right, the shirt and sunglasses from the left, the necklace, and the ring from the right.)

We went to the lobby where Marinette, Travis, and the others are sitting. "Are we just waiting on Rossi and her friends?" Emylee asks. "Yeah, Busiter went to go see if they are up already." Travis says. "They are never ready to go unless Rossi demands that they leave earlier than the set time." She says. Everyone nods in agreement and I turn to the doors as they open. In comes Damian Wayne and Jon Kent. I believe they are coming with us to S.T.A.R. Labs. Everyone boards the bus after Rossi and her group came down to the lobby.

Emylee's POV
The Flash is here giving the tour with Cisco Ramon and Dr. Kaitlyn Snow. I know that the Flash is Barry Allen, but I won't expose him. Especially with Rossi around as she will most likely lie about him none stop. Or even sprout the information to all of his villains. The tour comes to an end and we all go back to Gotham City.

Bruce: Hello, I was wondering if you wanted to go get some coffee when you got back?

Emylee: Sure, where though?

Bruce: *sent location*

Emylee: alright, I'll see you there then.

Bruce: See you in a bit.

I sigh and decide to put on a jacket before I leave to meet up with him. When I got there he waved at me. I sat down across from him. "So, why the sudden meeting for coffee?" I ask. "Just wanted to hang out. Get to know more about you." He says. "What more do you want to know? Other than what I've already told you." I say. "What made you choose to open a dance retail and studio company?" He asks. "My passion for dance did." I say. He nods and we continue to talk about hobbies and other things we like to do. "So, how did you meet Travis?" He asks. "Elementary school, we were in the same class and I had no friends until he decided to sit with me at lunch. This continued every time he saw me. Eventually the teachers would make him sit with me during class. We became friends because of this." I say. "Have you ever thought of dating him?" Bruce asks. "Oh gods no! He's like a brother to me." I say. I see him relax a bit. "Why are you worried about my love life?" I ask. He flushes slightly looking away. "No reason." He says. Uh huh sure Bats. I'll believe you for now. I look at the time and sigh. "I should get going before it gets too dark." I say. He looks over and nods agreeing. "Let me take you back." He says. "You really don't have to." I say. "I insist." He says smiling. "You won't back down will you?" I ask. He shakes his head still smiling. "Alright then come on." I say. We walk all the way back to my hotel and bid each other farewell. I go up to my room and wait until night fall to transform and leave for patrol. I end up on a roof overlooking the city with Firefly. "Who are you two?" A voice says from behind us. I turn my head to see Superman who is looking intently at Firefly. "Firefly and Night Fury. You are Superman, so why are you in Gotham City?" I ask. "Helping Batman with something. Why are you two here?" He asks. "We are here to get help from him for something happening in Paris." Firefly says. "What type of help?" Superman asks. I explain everything that has been happening to our city. "Woah, and someone from the Justice League turned you down?" He asks. "Yes, we got told to stop prank calling." I say. "That is absurd. Whoever took the call needs to be fired. Young ones shouldn't have to fight the things you mentioned. Even Batman isn't that cruel." Superman says. "I'm not that cruel for what?" Batman asks coming from the shadows. I already knew he was there, but it shocked Firefly and Superman. "You really need to stop doing that." Superman says to Batman. "He is like Night Fury. Silent but deadly." Firefly says before muttering an ouch after I slapped him upside the head. "He has already heard about the attacks from us." I say. Batman nods at my statement and tells us he will help us. "I still don't trust you though. So, if you go on patrol here myself and Superman will accompany you. Robin and Superboy will be accompanying Chat Noir and Ladybug." He says. "Okay, I already figured that would be the case." I say. "You did?" Superman asks surprised. "Yeah, my friend is very smart. She knows that he doesn't trust us enough. So, we are going to be watched while we are here." Firefly says. I look at him annoyed before perking up at a scream. I hold up my hand and he instantly stops talking. "Come on, that sounded like Marinette Dupain-Cheng." I say. He nods and we go to check it out. I see her being cornered by Joker and leap down knocking him out in the process. "Robin, can you take her back the hotel?" I ask as he appears. He nods and takes her back. I turn to see Batman standing right there. "He's all yours." I say before leaving back to the hotel. I transform back into a civilian and change into my pajamas. Falling to sleep on the couch once more as I was watching Ghost.
