I really appreciate that you decided to give this book a go. Truly I am, and I'm gonna tell you why.
I think my other book of the same title A Hopeless Pursuit (Complete) is by far my best book above all but it lacks getting the love and attention it needs due to its super lengthiness. Because I usually write my novels offline and A Hopeless Pursuit (Complete) is my first born novel of a Wattpad product. I get carried away, putting too much descriptions, plots, characters and dialogues on it that I didn't realise it went overboard to 107 parts! Like who has that energy and time to read 107 chapters with no graphics and aesthetics?!
So, this book is what my Compliance Manager would call 'an abridged version' of A Hopeless Pursuit (Complete). Well, as a matter of fact it is!
I decided to remove unnecessary characters, plots, and chapter/parts in this book and narrow its the focus predominantly on ZJ and Nick. However, some plots and characters that are inevitable and still significant to this book will remain.
And since I'm an old school author, I don't really understand the importance of graphics and aesthetics until I join Wattpad. So, I'm trying to make this book more appealing to readers with the help of my graphic friends. I'll include them in chapters where I display their fine artworks.

A few pointers
1. The persona (first person view) of the story is just one person i.e. ZJ. It's basically a walkthrough of her life, memories, feelings, opinions of the events that occurred around her.
2. There are some minimal religious elements but only to reflect the traits, characteristics, and point of view of the persona who is not a devout and not a liberal either. I'll try my best to make it generally accepted/understood by all readers to not complicate things as this book is meant for reading pleasure.
3. This book contains mature/LGBT elements. Meaning there's profanity, sexual explicit content and all that adult stuff but only on certain chapters. I'll mention at the beginning of its respective part.
4. There are some non-English words cited and translation is included next to it (in brackets like this).
Okay, I don't want to bore you with this lengthy message. You're here for the story, not to be inundated by my blabbering.
Just heads up, this book is basically complete. So, you will receive fast updates on this book. Please let me know how frequent do you want me to update. Weekly updates but with 5 chapters at a go? Or monthly updates but I spread out 10 chapters evenly?
I love constructive criticism so I appreciate if you can throw some for my improvement.
Having said that, I really hope you'd enjoy reading it as much as I'm making it.
