Jamari Taylor
Age : 22
Houston , Texas

"Seem who calling me?" I asked pulling from my blunt.

"Granny" He said bringing me my phone.

I clicked answer and put the phone on speaker.

"Hey ma"

"Jamari you better come get this little girl before I hurt her" My mom's voice boomed through the phone.

"Who" I asked.

"Nyla, she tried to sneak out the house with these fast ass girls"

My face instantly turned into a mug. Nyla know better than trying to sneak out. She always trying to follow the damn crowd instead of being herself.

"I'm on the way" I said quickly hanging up the phone.

I was mad as hell cause that just blew my high.

"Seem put on some shoes and a jacket" I said walking back into the house.

"Where we bout to go?" He asked.

"To your granny house , now hurry up" I sighed.

He quickly put on his yeezy slides and a random Nike jacket and followed me into the garage.

Once he hopped in the front seat I zoomed down the driveway and onto the street.

"Put yo seatbelt on nigga" I said glancing at him.

"Yeen got yours on" He mumbled.

"You not me, I ain't you" I shrugged.

He put his seatbelt on then reached across to put mines on.

"I swear your auntie finna piss me off" I said making a turn at the light.

"What she do?" He frowned.

"Trying to be sneaky" I replied.

"Mhm with them little nappy headed boys, I gotta have a talk with her" He shook his head.

"Yo ass some else" I chuckled.

I pulled up into my mom's driveway and parked the car.

We got out and went up the three steps. I had my own key so I unlocked the door myself.

"MAMA" I yelled.

"NIGGA STOP YELLING IN MY HOUSE" She yelled back.

"GRANNYYY" Seem yelled running to the kitchen.

I walked behind him to see my mama stirring something in a pot. "How he get to yell, but I can't?"

"You not me, I ain't you" Ja'Seem smirked.

"I'll beat yo ass" I jumped at him.

He fake flinched and bucked back at me.

"Mari you better go talk to her before I send her to her daddy." My mama sighed.

"Hell nawl, send her with me she ain't going with that nigga" I frowned.

Nyla's dad had a whole nother family with this white woman. He wanted Nyla to come live with him but Nyla and my mama refused too.
