"There we go," Tiny declared, setting the tree up. It was standing straight and tall, even though it wasn't really that tall. It was only taller than him by a few inches. Grabbing the lights, he began wrapping them around the tree. He then wrapped up the small pine in silver tinsel. Gnawing on a steak, Hu watched while wagging his striped tail. Dusting his hands off, Tiny stated, "Now for the ornaments."

Grabbing the box of ornaments, Tiny went back to the tree he had set up in the corner of his living room. Turning his back to the window, he grabbed a big red ornament. Hooking it to a tree branch, he admired it for a few seconds. He was about to grab another one when he saw something reflected on the ornament's shiny surface. Looking closer, he realized that it was the Sphynx cat peeking through the window behind him.

He was being spied on.

"Dad, can you help me?" Tiny called. He was hoping to trick the thieves into thinking he wasn't alone. Keeping one eye on the ornament, he sighed in relief when he saw the hairless feline disappear. But he didn't hear any footsteps, not yet at least. He quietly made his ways upstairs to spy from a higher vantage point. Making it to his own bedroom, he opened up the window and watched closely.

"You remember that kid we almost hit yesterday?" Ozone asked Tiberius. When the hawk nodded his head in reply, the cat smirked and meowed, "He lives here." Frowning slightly, the red tailed hawk mumbled, "But that means the parents have to be home too." The Sphynx cat shook his head. Smirking, he purred, "He's home alone."

"But the lunatic?! What about him?!" Tiberius questioned. Flicking his ear, Ozone asked, "Do you remember anything from this morning, like names?" Scratching his head thoughtfully, the red tailed hawk recalled, "Yeah actually. The guy with the gun was named Johnny and the guy who was shot... his was Snakes. He was asking about his family and Johnny shot him." Jaw dropping, Ozone punched him in the guts as he hissed, "That's an old movie from the 30s! Geez Tiberius! Learn your films!"

"I'm sorry, does it look like I would watch something like that these days?!" Tiberius retorted. Crossing his arms, he muttered, "Alright Ozone, what's the plan since you're so smart?" Thinking for a moment, Ozone murmured, "Let's go get a bite to eat and come back around nine tonight. That way it's dark and he'll be asleep. We'll just sneak in and take everything, including the kid."

"Oh, so now you want to kidnap children?"

"You have a problem with how I'm running things?"

"Yeah, I do actually."

Punch.

"Ow!"

"Don't question my authority again!"

"Mom, where are you..." Tiny whimpered quietly, watching the thieves as they left.
