Tiny was walking along the sidewalk by himself. The sun was hanging low in the sky. It wasn't going to be long until it sank below the horizon. The young basset hound puppy knew that he should probably be at home right now, trying to figure out what to do with his robber problem. He didn't know what to do though. Besides, he was on a different mission right now. And he was coming up on his destination right now.

"Excuse me ma'am, is he here yet?" Tiny asked a corgi dressed up as an elf. Looking down at him, she smiled softly as she answered, "He's right over there sweetie. You better hurry though, he's getting ready to leave." Thanking her, the young basset hound puppy ran over to a hamster dressed up as Santa Claus. He was getting ready to get in his car and drive away. Making it over before that happened, Tiny piped up, "Do you have a moment sir?"

"Oh! Hey kid!" the hamster exclaimed, quickly pulling his fake beard up over his nose. Looking him in the eye due to their similar heights, Tiny explained, "I know you're not actually Santa. You're just one of his messengers. I'd like you to give him a message for me." Nodding his head, the hamster remarked, "Okay kid, hit me. What's the message?"

"My name is Tiny Russell. I live at 7816 Illumination Avenue. For this Christmas, tell Santa I don't want any presents. I just want my family back... and a chew toy for my dog Hu. That's all I want," Tiny informed the hamster Santa Claus. Nodding quietly, the hamster rubbed his nose as he replied, "Alrighty, I'll let the big guy know kiddo. You have a merry Christmas young man." Smiling, Tiny responded, "You too sir."

"Wait, before you go kid," the hamster suddenly spoke. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a red and white striped candy cane. Giving it to Tiny, he pointed out, "Make sure you eat your dinner." Putting the candy cane into his pocket, Tiny promised, "I will, thank you." With his first mission completed, he began making his way back home.
