Groaning in pain, Ozone sat up. Angrily glaring at the front steps, he silently cursed under his breath. Getting up to his feet, the Sphynx cat didn't bother grabbing his crowbar. He had enough the basset hound puppy's crap now. "So, you want to play the game. Well kid, so do I..." he snarled, his tail lashing about in anger. Pulling off his right glove, the feline threw it on the ground and declared, "I accept your challenge!" With that, he made his second attempt climbing up the steps. Not learning from his first time, Ozone toppled back down them once more with a backflip and a crunch.

Everything was dark. Luckily, Tiberius could see okay but it was still pretty dark. Glancing to his left, he saw a pull string next to a lightbulb. Beyond that were the basement stairs that led to the interior of the house. Surprised by how easy this was, the red tailed hawk walked over there. Stopping by the lightbulb first, he grabbed the string and pulled on it.

Stuck in the garbage chute, the iron was pulled free.

Noticing that he was now holding the string and a lightbulb that hadn't turned on, Tiberius heard something above him. It sounded like something falling. Puzzled, he lifted his gaze just as an iron crashed down on his face. Yelping in pain, the red tailed hawk fell to the floor. Laying there for a second or two, Tiberius slowly turned to look at the mirror next to him, discovering a mark on the left side of his face that looked just like the iron. Sighing, he laid his head back down.

Grunting as he heaved himself back up to his paws, Ozone crouched down on all fours. Baring his teeth, he let out a battle cry before making a flying leap over the steps. Finally arriving at the front door, he whooped in celebration. "Ha!" the Sphynx cat shouted at the front steps loud enough so Tiny could hear him too, "I win! I have beaten you!" Laughing, he went up to the front door and grabbed the doorknob with his right paw.

Bad mistake.

"AHHH!!!!!" Ozone yowled at the top of his lungs. Releasing his hold on the doorknob, he finally saw the cherry red glow on it. In the meantime, his paw was burning. Crying in pain, he tried blowing on it to relieve himself of the agony. It did nothing. Backing away from the door, he accidentally slipped on the ice covered stairs again. Crawling over to the snow, Ozone stuck his burned paw in it. Sighing in relief as the pain finally ebbed away, he pulled it out to find an encircled R branded into his skin.

Peering through the window, Tiny snickered before he headed upstairs.
