( writing day )

today i'm heading to ariana's home studio to write this song. i haven't seen ari in a few days cuz the drama online got too much.

"hey scooter." i smiled, then proceeded to sit at the meeting table.

i look over at ariana across from me and she gives me a warm smile. god her smile.

"i'm here." brandon said walking into the room.

the rest of the team got here and we began the process.

i catch ariana staring at me and immediately looks away. her cheeks turn pink. god she's embarrassed nooo. i kicked her foot slightly under the table and she looks over at me again. those eyes. fuck bro. they're so intimidatingly just- gorgeous. they're a shade of brown i've never seen on another person.

"billie, yo." finneas said nudging me. "quit staring dude." he chuckled quietly.

a few hours go by of writing the song.

ariana's pov

"and there is happiness." me and billie harmonized. i swear if this girl looks at me one more time i'm going to fucki-

billie's pov

"alright i think that's it for today. we got first verse, pre-chorus, chorus, and bridge done. i'll email you guys when we'll work on the rest." scooter said getting up. everyone started leaving the room and the last people left were me and ariana.

we both looked at the corners of the room for cameras, none. i run over to close the curtains, and she closes the door.

i turn around to see her sitting, on the table. waiting.

i walk over to her slowly.

"tease much?" i chuckle.

"hm maybe." she giggles.

"you know, why don't i take you out. i'll get all the security in the world. i'll make sure we're the only two there-."

"bil. we'll get caught either way. those people who work at LA restaurants are literal paparazzis in disguise." she chuckles.

"then how about we just head to your house. just chill for awhile." i said as she wraps her arms around me, and puts her legs around my waist.

"i'd love that." she smiled.

"if we go to my house, my parents will be all up on you so we don't want that happening." i chuckle.

"yeah i guess." she laughs.

"so it's a date?" i ask.

"it's a date." she replied.

i lean in and kiss her softly but then smh

"billi- oh shit." claudia said bursting in.

"fuck claudia oh my god!" i yelled. ari giggled to my reaction.

"ok geez carry on. i'm giving you two 20 minutes." she said then running out.

"20 minutes. what do you wanna do?" i asked.

"talk to me."
