Quirk: Shapeshifting and Regenerating Healing
Me and the crew were at my house. We're celebrating the American holiday, the New Year. Its not a New Year for us but it's an excuse to use fireworks in the middle of the year. I was setting up all the fireworks with Bakugou. He offered to do it cause apparently Todoroki was doing it wrong.
"Hey dumbass, why do we need fireworks when I'm right here." Bakugou bitched.
"Cause I want them. After we're done, I'm gonna help Mina." I answered. I finished putting the chairs in place so I walked in and started helping Mina with the fruit sandwiches.
"Y/n, you are genuinely so beautiful. Bakugo definitely thinks so." Mina blurted out.
"Wow, that you Mina. You are absolutely stunning. And what makes you think Bakugou is even the slightest bit interested in me?" I questioned. I don't think Bakugou feels anything for me. We've always been friends, sadly.
"Look at the way he looks at you. He's always the first one here when something goes wrong or when you lose control. You're the only one who can calm him down now that I think about it." She said, nonchalantly. I looked at Bakugou to see him staring at me. He looked away quickly and started messing with Midoriya. I felt my face get a little hot.
"I-I mean I guess but I don't think he likes me like that. He probably just sees me as a sister." I said. She shrugged and we put the sandwiches in the fridge.
"Only 5 more minutes." I heard Uraraka yell. She so annoying to me but if Midoriya likes her then oh well. I walked to the couch and sat between Bakugou and Denki.
"Bakugou thinks your look really cute today." Denki whispered to me. My face got heated immediately. I drank some of my bubble tea and watched as everyone in New York started yelling as the ball dropped.

I hummed and looked up at him.

I felt Bakugou's hand snake around my waist and pull me towards him, kissing me softly.
"HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!" They screamed, popping the poppers and throwing confetti. I felt sparks as Over the Rainbow played on the channel. I wrapped my arms around his neck slowly. It felt like we were moving in slow motion.
I pulled away slowly and smiled. I looked into his beautiful scarlet eyes. I giggled and wiped the gloss from the side of his lips. There was a faint smile on his face. I was about to say something but giggled instead. I turned around as my hand slid down to his chest and his hand was around my waist.
"FINALLY!" They all yelled.
"Tch, shut up." We said at the same time.
"The fireworks!" Kirishima brought to our attention. We ran outside and Bakugou lit the fireworks and the sparklers went off first then the big fireworks.
Bakugou pulled me closer and I rested my head on his chest, wrapping my arm around his waist. He rested his hands on the small of my back. I smiled thinking about what the New Year will bring us.
This is a short one but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope 2021 is better that 2020 cause last year was shit. Happy New Year, love you.😽🤍
