Chapter Nine

Tayler Pov

I haven't left Sofie room in 4 four says, I haven't eaten, showered, moved, or slept. And I ignore Sofie's calls I don't have the energy nor the heart to tell her what happened, I didn't want to be the one that breaks her heart or be the one that makes her cry. I promised her that I will always make her happy. The house has been quiet and I haven't heard from Nate in awhile, I sighed, I finally moved from my daughter's room, and went into mine and took a long relaxing shower, I put on a random outfit, 

'Man up Tayler its not your fault you did nothing wrong you run an multi-million dollar company, you single handedly did it all by yourself. So this should be child's play.' I told myself looking into the bathroom mirror

I ran my fingers through my hair, and walked to the living room where Nate was no where to be seen, I looked around the whole house and Nate is nowhere. I walked out to the garden, I heard silent sobs and Nate's voice.

"Ok Sof I didn't want to be the one to tell you but uh- your dad and Kelianne well they are getting an divorce" Nate's voice broke, I heard Sofie gasp and started to go into an state of denial, "No no Sofie listen- Kelianne wasn't happy anymore with your dad so she went out looking for someone else behind your dad's back, that's also the reason she doesn't come on facetime calls or talk to you she has been in an relationship with someone else and she doesn't care about us" Nate cried I started to hear Sofie's sobs making my heart break, "How-How-How is Dad?" was the first thing she asked making my heart warm, "Uh he has been in your room and hasn't been out, he hasn't eaten, showered, or even moved" Nate dried his tears, "Um thank you for telling me uncle Nate, I want you to stop crying because its not your fault or anyone she didn't love us so we have each other to comfort" Sofie put on a brave face while tears streamed down her face, I wanted to tell her not to cry but my feet didn't move from their position. She then hung up the phone.

I finally started to move and I comforted my brother, "Holy- Are you ok bro?" Nate asked, I nodded and embraced him in an hug. New tears left my eyes, Sofie is right if Kelianne left this family its no one's fault but hers. I pulled apart from my brother and look at him, "Hey bro thank you for telling her" I thanked him, he smiled and nodded, I went to my room and called my lawyer.

Sofie Pov

I began to break down my family was falling apart, what did we do so that she would cheat on my dad? Was it me? All these thoughts filled my head as I broke down in the bathroom floor. letting negative thoughts filled my head.

"Sofie?" I heard Kio's voice, I tried to quiet my sobs but it was no use, I heard footsteps and a gasp, I curled up myself into a ball on the floor and didn't look at Kio, "Sofie what happened?" I felt his warmth beside me, I didn't answer I just sobbed, I then felt Kio's hand rubbed my leg, "Anytime your ready to talk, I will be right here" he spoke softly, I cried my eyes out while Kio rubbed circles on my leg. After 20 minutes of me still crying, Kio stopped rubbing my leg, I no longer felt his warmth, I was left on the floor by myself or so I thought, I felt strong hands under my legs and on my back then I was lifted I hid my face with my face knowing that it was Kio my the smell of his cologne. Kio walked with me into the room and sat down with me on his lap, he began to stroke my hair making he relax. "What happened?" he softly asked, "My parents are getting an divorce because my mom cheated on my dad and she doesn't  love me or my family anymore" I sobbed out, Kio let me talk while he was stroking my hair, "And its my fault" I cried as tears streamed out my eyes and snot came from my nose making me feel ugly around Kio. All of a sudden he stopped stroking my hair, he then shifted my body to face him but I hid my face in my hands, "Sofie" Kio spoke holding my wrist, "I don't you to see me like this" I mumbled but he didn't let go of my wrists instead he rubbed them then his fingers were on my neck then slowly waking their way to my jawline, I let my guard down then Kio moved his hands up and my arms moved from my face he was now cupping my face, "Sofie you are beautiful no matter what and second its not your fault your mom didn't care enough for you and your family she left she made the decision on her own to do what she did its no one fault but hers ok?" he spoke looking at me in my eyes, I nodded then wrapped my arms around his torso, he responded in wrapped his arms around my neck, we laid in my bed like this until we fell asleep...

The annoying sound of my alarm woke me up, I used one of my arms and turned it off, I then snuggled into the warm teddy bear underneath me.

Wait- when did I have a teddy bear, I snapped my head up and my gazed landed on a sleeping Kio, I froze I took a minute to look at the position we were in, my left arm was around his torso, his arms on my shoulders, my head at his stomach and I am between his legs, I began to feel the heat rush to my neck, I slowly looked at Kio when I saw he was staring right at me, "Its rude to stare" I spoke with the fake confidence I had like I wasn't blushing right now, Kio's cheeks flushed with red making me smile. We exited the bed and went straight to our bathrooms.
