Chapter 4: A Virgin Pregnant

MAEVE'S P.O.V 

When I got up I was out of breath! I cried in no time because I thought that I would actually have a miscarriage which was actually just a dream. I immediately picked up my phone next to my bed when I saw that I had received a text from my Mom.

From: Mom 

Darling, you need to go home when you read this message of mine. Trevour seems to want to talk to you. 

I bit my lip so hard then replied that I was going home. I immediately took a shower and got dressed then left my room when I saw Thyra and Chase sitting on the couch while watching T.V. I didn't bother them anymore and I was about to leave the house when I heard Chase call me. 

"Cassie? Where are you going?" Chase said to me. I took a deep breath first then spoke. 

"I have to go to my mom's house first, she just wants to ask me for something." I said. I was about to continue walking when I felt Chase hold my hand. 

"Wait for me to accompany you." He told me that then I saw Thyra's death glare at me and I was swallowed hard when I remembered my dream.

"Babe! Why do you have to accompany Maeve? I think it's not necessary to accompany her because it looks like she can handle herself!" 

There is a streak of annoyance in Thyra's voice. I saw Chase glance at me then kiss Thyra on the lips. I felt jealous. 

"Babe, when something happens to the baby we will lose the child so I need to make sure our child is safe okay? We will be back soon." 

Chase explained to Thyra then came out to me first, I would have walked again when Thyra pulled my arm and spoke. 

"Hey girl! It's not because Chase is kind to you, he likes you! remember that Chase loves me and not you, so don't do anything I don't like! Don't try to flirt with Chase because you don't know what I can do to you!" she said in gritted teeth. I smiled hard then pulled my arm away from him. 

"Don't worry! What else do you want me to do? Isn't it enough that Chase insisted that this child is yours and his, even though I am the real mother? Don't worry, your love is yours but remember this! That this child is mine too!" 

I said then I turned my back to her then went straight to Chase's car after getting in the passenger seat I heard Chase speak. 

"Why are you sitting at the back? Move here next to me." He said. I took a deep breath before moving next to the driver's seat. I looked at Chase when he suddenly brought his face closer to mine then he spoke. 

"You, wear a seatbelt." He whispered in my ear causing my heartbeat fast. I did what he said then I closed my eyes to rest while we were traveling.

CHASE'S P.O.V 

After a few hours of travel we also arrived in front of her mother's house when I noticed that she was very sleepy so I didn't wake her up and I stared at her angelic face then I swallowed hard before kissing him quickly on the lips. 

"Why did you suddenly come into my life when I loved Thyra so much?" There was a regret on what I said then I shook her slowly to wake her up. 

"Cassie we're here." I said and I saw her wake up then get out of the car. I just followed her into their house when I saw a man sitting in their living room. 

"Mom, I'm here—by the way, Chase is with me." Cassie said then kissed her mother. 

"All right darling, sit there first and I'll just get something to drink." her mother said then Cassie made me sit down. I sat on the side when I noticed the man in front of me was staring at Cassie. 

"Trevour... What is the reason that you're looking for me?" Cassie asked gently to him. I felt annoyed when I heard her call the man, so this is her ex fiance? 

"Cassie please come back to me... I will accept the baby and I won't be angry with you as long as you come back to me, you know that I can't live without you by my side right? I love you so much please come back to me?" 

The man said to Cassie then kissed Cassie's hand.

"Trevour..." Cassie said incredulously. 

"I will claim that the child is mine as long as our marriage continues, I love you so much honey please come back to me..." It added. I clenched my fist when I heard him say that to Cassie then spoke. 

"You have nothing to claim from Cassie because she is carrying my child and you have no rights to our child!" I said then I saw the shock in Cassie's eyes as well as the man in front of me when I said that. 

"B-but... I don't care! I'll do everything just to get Eve back to me and don't interfere with it!" He told me that and I was annoyed so I began to punch him on the face. 

"Fuck you! You're so stupid to understand what I'm saying! Cassie is carrying my child so she can't get back to you! Don't force yourself too much because I can take responsibility for our child! You're done so just accept that!" I said but I was surprised when that man punched me back! 

"You're even more stupid! Why are you interfering? You're not the one I'm asking!" He told me I just heard Cassie shout. 

"Please stop it! Don't fight! Trevour... I'm so sorry we're done, and I'm not coming back to you I'm sorry... I know I hurt you too much so it's okay and I don't want to hurt you anymore especially because we will both have a hard time if we are forced to bring back our past relationship." Cassie said then I stood up and then we went out of her mother's house. 

"Please Cassie... be mine only, mine alone." I said and I don't know what runs in my brain when I said that but there is only one thing in my mind and that's I don't want to lose her. I touched her cheek then I gently kissed her on the lips.
