"What? You're going to revert back already?" a deep voice greeted (y/n)'s ears as she sat up slowly, head pounding it seems as though she woke up in a middle of a conversation and through blurry eyes (y/n) could see Elizabeth rush to her. "(y/n) you're awake! Thank goodness" before (y/n) could answer Escanor started coughing . "Hey what's the matter?" a little girl's voice asked while Elizabeth turned around to use reinvigorate quickly, looking around the tavern was a mess.

"Hey (y/n) are you alright? You haven't said a word sense you woke up?" Hawk walked to the dazed goddess "no I don't..my head ...hurts.." it was hard to think as (y/n) put a hand on her head. "Drole did inform us you used all your energy and power in that battle" King said softly as Elizabeth turn back and used reinvigoration on (y/n) as well. Feeling immediately better (y/n) was able to collect her thoughts.

Looking around quickly and not seeing Gloxinia she started to panic "where is he?" Elizabeth smiled "don't worry he's over there" she pointed behind Escanore, running behind him there layed Gloxinia sleeping on a mattress. "When Drole came with you two passed out we figured we could Gloxinia on a mattress considering it was halfway down the stairs while Elizabeth healed you" Hawk explained as he walked next to (y/n) huffing with pride. turning to the pig (y/n) smiled softly "thank you Hawk"

turning back to giving the red headed fairy her full attention (y/n) sat next to him, gently moving some hair from his face sniffling as tears started to form " you doof, you scared me so much" leaning over to hug him, (y/n) cradled Gloxinia's head. Feeling a warm hand on her arm (y/n) opened her eyes to see it was Gloxinia's " you scared me too, you know-" Gloxinia couldn't finish his sentence as he was interrupted with a small coughing fit.

"Take it easy, love" (y/n) set his head back down as she started to use invigorate. Elizabeth walked over to help make the healing process faster "just lay here, you're still hurt from fighting Chandler" Elizabeth explained as he sat up angry despite what Elizabeth just said "Chandler that fucker! Where is he?" wincing and holding on to his stomach (y/n) pushed on his shoulders gently to lay back down. "He's dead. I killed him" (y/n) started to cough a little, Elizabeth noticed this " are you alright?"

"Ya I'm fine, my throat is just a little dry, I think" Escanore too started coughing while Elizabeth healed him as the room started to get suffocating. "Sorry Elizabeth" Diane started coughing also "come to think of it, I'm starting to feel a little sick too" King agreed pointing out how stagnant and miserable the air is.

"Hawk is it affecting you at all?" King asked looking over at the pig as he huffed "me? If anything I'm just feeling kinda hungry." the little girl who turned out to be Merlin in her original form spoke up. "I think that's kind of obvious. The miasma from Meliodas is emitting. That negative energy is growing stronger by the second, that's why"

"none of this is his fault" Elizabeth rushed to pick up Meliodas "I'm sorry, I'm taking him with me to get some fresh air." watching her leave was a bit awkward but it was best to give her and Meliodas some space, turning her attending back to Gloxinia (y/n) smiled.

"Hows Drole?" Gloxinia's question "he's outside resting, I was able to shrink him down so he'll have to be stuck outside for a while." Merlin explained as Gloxinia nodded "that's worrisome, isn't it?" Escanore asked looking at the door Elizabeth left through.

"Your condition isn't much better though" Merlin retorted as Escanore stuttered and laughed nervously as he patted his arm "all I did was cough a little. As you can see I can still fight! My power makes meager sense it's dusk now, but it's not as if I'm not useful at all!"

"Whatever you say dude" Hawk huffed as Gloxinia turned his head "oh hey you're the talking pig from the fighting festival aren't you?" Hawk walked over. "yes I am, too bad you and Drole didn't get to see my awesome powers but don't worry I don't keep my fans waiting!" Hawk huffed with pride. Gloxinia chuckled a little "I see"
