A long day pt3

"How did you know I needed help?"

Putting his forehead against hers he said, "Because I can read your heart" (y/n) gasped.

"My heart?"

Pulling away and picking her up, "Yep come on let's get to studying so we can play sooner eh?" Picking up the bag and flying to where Drole was.

Gloxinia inspected the paper that (y/n) gave him "So this is your homework? That's not too bad, come here and I'll help." Still looking at the paper he padded his leg as (y/n) sat down as he helped her. "Ok I think I'm getting the hang of it" (y/n) said as she finished writing the last question down.

Gloxinia looked at the paper looking over her answers, "You got every one on here correct, I don't see how your teacher said you couldn't, you're one smart cookie." Looking over at the girl Gloxinia smiled, making her blush. "Now we're going to challenge that smart brain of yours, and since you know all the answers now it should be no problem for you to answer without this paper." Gloxinia said, shaking the paper a bit.

"Now what's the answer to 59x4?"

"236!" (y/n) yelled fiercely yelling seemed to not only help with (y/n) confidence but it helped her focus.

"Correct! See (y/n) you got this in the bag!" Gloxinia praised.

"Indeed (y/n) you learn quickly, you don't seem to struggle given the proper guidance" Drole added.

"Hey what's with all the yelling?" it was Meliodas,Elizabeth, and Gerheade.

"I'm practicing doing math in my head!" (y/n) said confidently.

"And she's doing amazing, she only has one more question to answer so don't distract her " Gloxinia said pointing to the three of them. "Now (y/n) what's 69*6?" (y/n) thought for a good second

"414!"

"And finished, great job (y/n)." Gloxinia smiled and got up, "High five" (y/n) hit his hand and jumped happily.

"Great job (y/n)" Elizabeth said, after the homework was put away the group had more than enough time to play games.

After a day full of playing games mostly hide and go seek night fell which meant (y/n) had to go home but not before tripping and hurting herself again. Luckily Elizabeth was there to help with the small injury instead of Gloxinia using moon rose again. "There (y/n) all done, you should be more careful when running around these woods because of the roots." Elizabeth lectured the girl lightly.

"I promise, can you teach me how to do that? So I wont bother you or Gloxinia when it happens again?"

Elizabeth giggled, "Of course (y/n) when you come back we'll make a day out of it." (y/n) nodded smiling.

"Alright kiddo let's get you home." Gloxinia held out his hand and she took it with joy.

"So you're going to spend a day with Elizabeth huh?" Gloxinia asked as they walked to the portal which wasn't too far.

"Yep! I wanna learn so I can help you guys and fight! Speaking of, can I train with you and Drole? It looks so much fun!"

Gloxinia laughed nervously. "We'll see about that part kiddo for now you should enjoy the fun while it lasts, don't grow up too soon ok?" (y/n) and Gloxinia stop at the connected trees

"But how can I learn how to protect you and everyone else if I can't train? There's a war right? I wanna help so I can see you again." (y/n) started to tear up. "I've seen it on TV people who go to war don't always come back but if I'm there to help heal you, you all will be safe... I don't wanna see you hurt." Gloxinia crouched and patted her head.

"You're really brave for wanting to help (y/n) and believe it or not you are already helping. You're reminding us everyday why we are fighting to end this war, to protect the innocent such as yourself understand?" (y/n) nodded. "Good now I'll see you tomorrow good night (y/n)" Gloxinia patted her head

"Night night, my king." (y/n) smiled as she walked through the trees.

"Though it would be wise to teach you how to defend yourself because I'm not always around." Gloxinia talked to himself, scratching his head he left the two trees to get much needed rest.

When (y/n) got home the sun was setting even though it was night time in the Fairy King's forest. Walking through the glass doors her mom greeted, "Hey sweetie you're just in time for dinner I was just about to call you." (y/n) smiled.

"Do you want me to help mamma?" (y/n) mother thought for a moment.

"You can set the table." (y/n) went to set the table up and by the time she was done dinner was done as well.

"Hey mamma can we go get some fruit tomorrow? I wanna have a small picnic in the woods. Is that alright?"

Her mother laughed, "Of course sweetie." (y/n) smiled after dinner (y/n) went to bed waiting for tomorrow to come.
