"(y-y/n-n)" was all Gerheade could say before (y/n) was pulled backwards forcibly having to let go of Gerheade. (y/n) was thrown back on the other side of the two trees where she would enter normally.
"w-wait...no no no no! P-please take me back! I n-need to help lady Gerheade! G-gloxinia!" She walked through the two trees several times but nothing worked. (y/n) had no choice but to walk home.
(y/n) legs were like lead. It was hard to move but she was able to get back home where her mother was on the back porch, limping and holding the wounded arm, and thinking of what she could have done better. "m-mom...mommy" (y/n) fell and all she heard was her mother scream her name as she passed out.
(y/n) woke up in the hospital with her mother sitting beside her "(y/n) oh thank the gods you're awake!" her mother kept kissing her face "hold on sweetie, doctor! She's awake! Doctor!" Soon the doctor came in.
"good morning (y/n). I need to ask a few questions" the old man paused "how you got that big gash on your arm can you tell me?" at this point (y/n) finally processed everything and started crying hard.
"it's all my fault!" (y/n) cried and told them everything that happened. To meeting Gloxinia and everyone, to their games and the fun they had, to training her how to defend herself, (y/n) cried and bleed her heart out telling them how much she loved them all dearly especially Gloxinia, and finally how she got the gash.
(y/n) yelled letting the whole hospital know how she didn't want to forget them or what happened no matter how painful, she wanted to remember as a way to honor her hurt friends.
Little did young (y/n) know she wouldn't be able to see them for a long time. (y/n) exhausted herself as the doctor listened looking at the poor girl then to her mother "rest (y/n) you'll need it ok. There's some things that will be discussed when you wake up" (y/n) took in a shaky breath and listened to the Doc and went back to sleep. While (y/n) slept the Doctor took her mother out to talk.
"I don't know what could have truly happened when she got that gash but it seems her mind is making up those people to cope with the actual events, I recommend therapy " the Doctor gave her mother a card for a child therapist.
On the drive home the day after her mother broke the silence "you're not allowed to play out in those woods anymore" (y/n) looked at her "what no please! Mom you can't!" "I'm not letting you get hurt like that again (y/n)!" her mother raised her voice and (y/n) cried. (y/n)'s mother sighed "look sweetheart I'm doing this for your safety" she stopped for a moment leaving only sniffles to fill the silence "I'm not mad at you (y/n), you'll understand why I'm doing this when you're older" the rest of the drive was silent and gloomy.
During the first week home (y/n) would sneak out to try to get back to the fairy king's forest but failed each time. Getting desperate she cried out "Gloxinia! Drole!....Meliodas!!" her breath caught in her throat "WHERE ARE YOU!! ELIZABETH!" she yelled. She walked aimlessly in the clearing for a while, her mother hearing this she ran out "(y/n)! What are you doing! You know you're not allowed any more!" she grabbed her from behind as (y/n) screamed and wailed into her mom's neck "I wanna go back! I want to see them again but I can't!!" her mother shushed her as she carried (y/n) back home and (y/n) spent that night sleeping clutching her mom.
Morning came and (y/n) slowly got ready for her first therapy session arriving at the tall building (y/n) walked in with her mom slowly as she held her head down. After about a 10 minute wait she was seated with a lady with a soft voice.
"Good morning (y/n), here take a seat" the lady kindly gestures to the seat in front of her, (y/n) took a seat quietly, looking down at her lap "hey so what do you like to do for fun?" the therapist asked "well...I like to draw a little and play outside in the woods behind my house.."
"Alright can you tell me what's been going on lately? Anything on your mind?" the therapist waited patiently "I....I tried to help my friends but I wasn't really able to" (y/n) twiddled her thumbs.
The therapist took notes and said, "can you tell me what happened?" (y/n) slowly told her story and how she tried to help her friend Gerheade but was pulled away from something before she could. Taking notes the therapist listened carefully "you said that you ran to get help?" the girl nodded "in your mind what was something that you could do that could have changed the outcome for the better?" (y/n) thought.
"well I wish I would have told Gloxinia my worries sooner and should have tried harder to get lady Gerheade out of there" the therapist nodded "from what you said (y/n). I think that's the best thing you could have done, first you told Gloxinia how you felt and you did your absolute best to get Gerheade out of danger but when you weren't able to you did the next best thing you ran for help" (y/n) looked up at her therapist.
"you really think so?" the lady nodded. (y/n) thought for a minute "mam I really want to remember everything. I'm scared to forget" the therapist looked at the time "well how about I send you home with some homework? So you won't forget?" the therapist stood up "ok" (y/n) did the same and the therapist and (y/n) walked out.
"Your homework till our next meeting is to draw whatever you want, it could be of the events or a representation of it or something that makes you happy" the lady said as they reached the first floor and met up with the girl's mom. "Ok i can do that" the therapist talked to (y/n)'s mother and explained the homework she suggested. After leaving (y/n) and her mother went to the store and got her art supplies and went home, arriving home (y/n) went up stairs and took out her drawing book and looked at the blank paper.
Looking out the window she decided to draw it, after what turned out to be a few hours she finished, it was her window in a night time setting it was all in regular pencil except a bloch of rainbow made from colored pencil.
The first time they met it, not being the best drawing in the world but she was happy with it for now she just thought to herself that it can be redone when she gets better later. Putting the art supplies away she got ready for bed but not before looking at the picture of them all, she held the photo close and bid them good night. Putting the photo away she climbed into bed and fell asleep.
