Jungkook:
"On stage in five minutes" I adjusted my mic and double checked the things. It would be an understatement to say I was nervous. I was beyond terrified. If this doesn't work out, I promised the agency to break up with Y/n. It was heat of moment when I said that but they took my words seriously. Hyungs were trying to stop me from doing anything stupid but I didn't listen to them. I guess I should suffer for what I did.
"You ok?" Namjoon hyung patted my back. "Yeah, I am" I tried to speak firmly but he can sense how scared I am by my voice. "We know you are worried but don't worry" he smiled assuring me. "It will work" I sighed in relief a bit at his words. "I really hope so hyung" I said looking at Y/n who was sitting with the boys. Though we are in a scandal no one know clear identity of Y/n till now.
This is also a part of reason why I am scared. I don't want her to receive any hate from the fans. "Guys you are on" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the girl who mentioned for us to come on to the stage. She was instructing us regarding the live and all. She told us about the things we will be asked and etc. I waited for her to finish explaining. Once she is done, we were given the mics and ushered on to the stage.
"Tonight, we have a very important guest here" interviewer started announcing our name. "Please welcome BTS" we all did the greetings with interviewer. "Hello guys, how have you been?" Namjoon hyung answered for us. "I am so glad you guys are here. So, we have some questions which your fans wanted to know" I sat at the back in the middle listening to him. "I am sure you are all aware of the rumours about Jungkook"
"So, can we expect a clarity on it?" we already know what he will be asking. "Jungkook would you like to say anything?" they all looked at me expectantly. "First of all, I apologize to the fans for this rumour. I know they all look up to me and making things like this will upset them" I bowed to the camera. "I am sorry for this army"
"I am sure they are not mad at you" interviewer empathized with me. "About the rumours, it is true that I am dating a girl" I heard the gasps in the studio from few fans who were welcomed. "I didn't plan to reveal it this way but situations didn't support me" I paused to look at camera. "I hope you guys accept my decision"
"Congratulation Jungkook" interviewer said despite the tension in the room. "But I would like to ask you about the rumours" he checked his card where he wrote the details. "It seems an article has been posted about your girl friend to be double timer" I shook my head at him. "It was fake. She is not that type of girl. The man mentioned in the article is her best friend and we met lot of times too"
"Besides he already has a girlfriend" I announced. "We are all happy with our relationships" I informed him smiling genuinely. "We are trying to find who wrote this article so that we can punish them legally" Namjoon hyung added. "Have you all met her too?" he asked hyungs curiously. "Yes, we did. She is indeed a smart girl" Yoongi hyung commented. "She can rap better than Taehyung"
"Yes" Jimin hyung supported making al of us laugh. After that interview went in smooth. It seemed our idea worked. I thanked Eunwoo for helping me. I still remember the conversation we had.
*Flashback*
"I have a plan to solve this" I looked at Eunwoo curiously. "You might know my other friend Soojin" I remember seeing with Y/n few times before. "Actually, all three of us has been together since childhood. I have feelings for her since our high school" I listened to him attentively. "I thought of it as a stupid crush but as the time went by, I fell for her more. I wanted to confess my feelings but I was scared"
"When I got the news of my company position, I wanted to check if she really likes me back. So, I asked Y/n to be my fake girlfriend" now I understood what he did. "My family didn't know the whole story about our relation. I was about to tell her the truth after grandma party but she left early"
"I am sorry to break it but how does this help us?" I asked him confused. "I went to visit Soojin and told her about my feelings. It seems she also likes me back" I smiled at him. "I happy for you" he nodded thanking me. "I told my family about it too" I really am happy for him despite the situation. He means a lot to Y/n. "I will tell everything to Y/n family too"
"We can hold an interview where you can announce your relation with Y/n and I will also announce my relationship with Soojin. It will clear the issue of her being double timer" I bit my lip thinking about it. If fans know she isn't what article said then they will try to understand. But the main concern is there are some fans who will hate her no matter what.
"You need to reveal it one day" I hummed agreeing with him. "Fine I will do it"
*End of flashback*
"That's all for today. Thanks for joining us boys" we thanked interviewer and went out. "It went well" Jin hyung and Hosoek hyung cheered when we came out. "Now, we have to wait and see about fans reaction" Namjoon hyung said making me worry. I really hope they will understand me.
