Chapter 12

Jeonghan's POV

Me and Cheol just got back at our unit after eating lunch and were helping the guys prepare for new year which is just only hours away when my phone rang.

I excused myself and went to the balcony. When I took my phone out and looked at the caller's id, I smiled when I saw who it was.

"Hello, Shua?"

"Hello, uhm.."

"You're coming later, right?"

"Ofcourse."

"Okay. By the way, what makes you call me?"

"I have to say something to you later and.."

"And?"

"Sorry if we can't hang out and properly talk after christmas. I have many things to do and my schedule got packed so i'm really sorry."

I smiled and looked down.

"It's okay, I understand. Atleast, we'll see each other later."

I heard him giggle.

"Jeonghan."

"Hmm?"

I looked up and faced the view.

"I missed you."

I almost dropped my phone. I felt my heartbeat went fast and loud, I felt my lips forming a wider smile. I felt something on my stomach.

"I missed you too."

"I'll see you later."

"See you!"

And just like that, we ended the call.

I was skipping when I went back inside, smile still on my face.

"What's going on, hyung?" Dino asked.

"Nothing." I smiled at him reaaaally wide.

"I guess Joshua called him." Seungcheol said and I didn't said anything because it's true.

They were teasing me until we finished decorating.

We just waited until it's 10 pm so we all washed and dressed up.

Like we did on Christmas, we took photos. Solo photos and group photos. Minghao, Jun and Joshua arrived just in time so they were included in all of the group photos.

And like Chan and Seungkwan did on Christmas, they invited Vernon and Samuel.

"I can invite my crush too, right?" Seokmin smirked.

We all looked at him and jumped to him while teasing him. Cheol even kissed him on the cheeks, saying; "My children are all growing up." And wiped his nonexistent tears.

Minutes later, Seokmin's crush arrived. It was a girl. She's so pretty. She's also nice and friendly so we all got along so well.

"If ever, she'll be the only girl here." Seungkwan said.

"You're not too sure about that, Seungkwan." Seungcheol grinned.

And as if on cue, the doorbell rang and Seungcheol stood up, heading towards the door. All eyes are on him.

I saw a girl came in and they smiled at each other. Seungcheol greeted her, I guess before kissing her on the forehead, the girl leaning in on his touch.

"Guys, meet Seiastia. I've been courting her for the past 4 months." He had his arms around hers.

(A/N: It's pronounced as Seyestya.)

Seiastia bowed and said hi. We also greeted back.

Like Seokmin's crush, she's also kind so we got along with her easy and just fine.

I was sitting between Joshua and Seungcheol. Joshua had his arms around mine. Seiastia's sitting beside Seungcheol and beside Seiastia is seoks crush name. They're talking with each other. Beside seoks crush is Seokmin.

On the other sofa is Vernon sitting beside Seungkwan who is sitting beside Chan. And Chan is sitting beside Samuel.

Soonyoung and Jihoon are on the other sofa. While Mingyu and Wonwoo are on the last sofa. We have 4 sofas and our unit is wide so we were just fine even if we're many.

"Why didn't you tell us about her earlier." I frowned at Seungcheol and crossed my arms at my chest.

"I'm sorry. I didn't have time to do so because our schedules were clashing back then and you guys are also busy so I just planned to introduce her this new year." He explained.

I just nodded.

I turned to Joshua this time.

"I can't believe we spent the christmas together and now, we're going to spend the new year together."

We were smiling at each other.

"I know, right. I didn't expect this to happen."

"Guysss, new year is just minutes away! Get ready for the countdown!" Soonyoung shouted.

We all stood up and went to different places in the unit. As for me and Joshua, we went to the balcony.

We sat at the chairs and just stared at the buildings, city lights, vehicles and people passing by, and the moon.

I slowly leaned on Joshua's shoulder. He automatically put his arms around mine. I put my arms around his waist.

He kissed the top of my head and I smiled.

"I head Minghao said that you don't have time for us to meet or hang out. I'm glad you made it here."

"Yeah, I thought I couldn't go but luckily, they said that they will just continue my schedule after new hear so I was left with paper works but I finished all of it earlier before coming here so it's fine. After new year and after a few days, we're just going to have a photoshoot since i'm also a freelancer model. " He explained. I just nodded.

Minutes had passed without us talking and moving. We were just quiet, enjoying each other's presence. We were already quite comfortable with each other after days of seeing each other and hanging out.

Time quickly passed by, and we heard them counting down.

"3!"

"Jeonghan." I sat properly and looked at him.

"2!"

"I have something to say." I nodded again, waiting for him to continue.

"1!"

"Happy New Year!"

"I have a crush on you."

I heard him, his words were crystal clear.

I smiled. I quickly took what he said in.

"I have a crush on you too."

"Happy New Year." We greeted each other and just in time, the fireworks started to show and blow up.

We both stood up and leaned on the railings. He cupped my cheeks and kissed me there on both sides.

After doing that, he put his arms around mine and pulled me close to him, hugging me. And again, I leaned my head on his shoulder and put my arms around his waist.
