Chapter 23

Jeonghan's POV

"Oooh." I exclaimed as I continued to went in to Joshua's unit.

I didn't thought that Joshua's "I would love to have you in my unit" will be today.

We just talked about me coming here yesterday so it didn't came to mind that I would go here today.

I gasped when I saw something in the wall by the stares.

It's a big picture of me from the wedding, and take note; it's framed.

Joshua seems to hear my frown as he turned to me and started walking towards me hurriedly.

"Ooooh, joshuji." I teased him, my eyebrows wriggling up and down.

"Stop it." He rolled his eyes and hit my shoulders.

"Do you have a crush on me since then?" I crossed my arms and raised a brow.

His eyebrows furrowed, "What? No. I just put it in there when we started uhm you know? Hanging out. I saw that picture when I was checking the photos I took that day so." He shrugged.

"Why is it beside your family picture, though?" I asked, genuinely curious. I looked at the two framed pictures again.

"Because you're important to me now."

I almost didn't heard it because it was a whisper.

"What?" I turned to him only to see him looking down and fumbling with his hands.

"Jeonghan.." He lifted his head up and went close to me, holding the both of my hands.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry that we're not in a beautiful place or set up when I ask this because I didn't plan this but.." He trailed off.

My heart started to beat fast and loud, my hands and feet became cold.

And it went worse when he kneeled on one knee and pulled a box.

I wanted to cry when he opened it and I saw a ring.

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes." I answered immediately.

He smiled and stood up and put the ring on my pinky finger.

He kissed my forehead and hugged me.

"But why did you give me a ring?" I asked.

He let go of the hug and looked at me.

"Because I promise that someday, i'll put the ring not on your pinky finger but on your ring finger."

I smiled widely at him and pecked a kiss on his lips before running away.

"Hey!" He called but I just chuckled and continued to run away.
