Chapter 22

Jeonghan's POV

"Why are you here?" I asked, my voice came out almost monotonous if it wasn't for the little annoyance.

"Uhm, I always go here straight after my work." Joshua answered.

Apparently, they let him in even if I said don't so here he is, sitting on my bed while i'm under my sheets because i'm too annoyed to face him.

"They said that you slammed the doors shut. What's the matter?" He asked.

Does his voice really needs to be that gentle and sweet?! I can't stay mad at him if he's going to be like this! Seriously?!

"Nothing." I lied.

Why am I annoyed and mad at him, anyway?

Who am I kidding? I know the answer. I'm jealous. I look like crazy here, talking to myself mentally. Really?

"I know there's something wrong, hannie. Please tell me about it so I can maybe uhm make you feel better if I can't fix it."

Ofcourse, you can do something to fix it! Duh, you're literally being smiley and such with that girl earlier downstairs.

"Han.."

"Talk to me, will you?"

I didn't respond again.

"Hannieeee."

I huffed and went out of my sheets, sitting up properly.

I crossed my arms over my chest. I looked at him and frowned.

"What?"

"What are you upset about?" He asked, worried.

"Who's the girl you're talking to earlier there downstairs? You're all smiley talking to each other. You're laughing and will jokingly hit each other from time to time-" I stopped when he chuckled.

"You're cute."

"I know." I rolled my eyes.

I stopped and glared at him before I hit him. "Hey, you're distracting me!"

He just chuckled again.

"She's a sister of one of the photographers there. She happens to live in the same building as me so I offered her a lift since her car's broken. Don't worry, she's like a little sister to me. You know that I like you, right? I like you and I will only like you." He explained.

"Hmp. Okay."

"Where's my hug? I'm tired from work and I want a tight hug from my baby."

I blushed at the pet name.

"Come here." I opened my arms.

He smiled widely and came close to me. He kissed me on my cheeks before he hugged me.

"Sorry for acting like that earlier, I was just jealous because I have never seen you talking to a woman like that. Besides, I just came home from work and the first thing I got to see after washing up is that scene." I apologized, my voice quite muffled as my head is buried on his shoulders.

His hands started drawing circles on my back.

"It's okay, hannie. I understand, no need to worry."

He kissed my hair.

I tightened my hug on him, causing him to chuckle again. I know he likes it.

"But wait.." I trailed off and pulled away as our positions is not comfortable. I leaned on the headboard.

"Hmm?" He asked.

I was about to say to him to sit beside me properly but he layed down on my lap before I could even do so.

I smiled and started brushing his hair out of his face, playing with it after doing so.

"What did you just say earlier? Living in the same building as hers? What do you mean?"

"Uh.. Well I actually live in the unit just beside yours.." He said.

"What?!" I was shocked.

"I thought you're just staying at Jun and Hao's unit because yours is far away from your work place."

"Actually, I just moved in again in that unit when I started working here again. I mean, last year, I was sent to America to model and do my photograph there. I just moved in that unit after I got home here."

"Hmm, okay."

"Can I go to your unit some time, though?" I asked.

"Sure, I would love to have you in my unit." He said.
