Hope's POV:

"Ok, so my mom was a werewolf Alpha for the Crescent Pack and my dad was one of the first Warm Ones created a thousand years ago by my grandmother who was an evil witch." Their eyes widen at this.

"He was the product of an affair with a werewolf in his village. When they were turned into vampires he made his first kill, activating his werewolf side. Making him the Original hybrid. I have his blood running through my veins." They're all listening eagerly now.

"When I was born my mom was killed and I was almost sacrificed, but that's a story for another time, well when she died she had my blood...my father's blood, in her system. The way you turn a Warm One is by dying with their blood in your system. She became a hybrid as well."

Sad looks take over their faces. "I'm what's known as a tribrid. A vampire, a witch, and a werewolf. I haven't died yet so I'm not a vampire, but while I was in New Orleans I triggered my werewolf curse so now I am both a witch and a werewolf. Being both allows me to shift at will."

"Wait, so, you said in order to trigger your werewolf curse you have to take a human life, either by accident or on purpose. You said yours was an accident. Who did you kill?" Paul asks me. The others lean in, interested in my answer.

"My mom was killed by vampires who believed that being a hybrid was wrong. Their leader held a grudge against my father. He wasn't the best vampire out there, but when I was born he changed, anyways she sought to eliminate all hybrids from the earth." They're brows furrow.

"The only way to make a hybrid is if an actual werewolf dies with my blood in their system and then they drink my human blood to complete the process." Pauls eyes flash with anger. "Those leeches bit you?" He asks. I shake my head.

"I keep my blood in vile so that if I die, I'll be able to turn. We believe it has to be my human blood. I don't let vampires bite me." He nods, relaxing once again. Embry and and Jared smirk at each other.

"Anyways, while I was in New Orleans I got selfish, wanting to see my dad again so I kidnapped my mom which caused him to come home. Well when I went to retrieve her I found that the vampire group took her and had the leader's son trick me into trusting him to lure me to them."

Paul's grip on m tightened. "They bound my mom's werewolf side so that she was a normal vampire, she could burn in the sun now. I was knocked out, but from what my dad told me, they tried to bind my werewolf side so that they could kill me and my mom." I hear Paul growl.

"They didn't want to make us just normal vampires, they wanted us dead. In order to protect me my mother cut off the leaders daylight ring and flung both of them out into the sunlight, turning both of them to dust."

Their faces fall as they look at the ground and Paul nuzzles his head into my neck. "I just wanted my dad there so I took the think keeping my dad, aunts, and uncles away from me. A magic from a witch that tried to kill me right before I moved here, the reason I moved here."

I glare at the table thinking of the Hollow. "It was killing me cause the power was too much. I sought ways of releasing that power and my dad came up with a solution. They gathered everyone of the vampires that conspired against us and killed my mom."

"I killed them, but the force of the spell shook the building and I didn't know there were two humans in the attic. One was fine, but a bookshelf fell on the other, killing him. It was an accident." I mumble the last part. Paul holds me tightly. "Wow." Is all anyone can say.

Paul even glares at Embry for saying it. "Wait, so you knew her mom was a vamp?" Jared asks Paul. He nods. "And she was allowed to live here? How did she feed?" "Blood bags shipped from New Orleans." Sam answers nonchalantly.

"So you're a witch too? What all can you do?" Embry asks, excited. I laugh, shaking off the details of the story I just told. I look around to see what I can do that's small. They I look at Emily. The entire time I was talking Sam was kissing her scars. He must have inflicted them.

I get up and walk over to the couple. "May I, I promise it's nothing bad." I tell Sam. He looks hesitant, but Emily reassures him. He finally nods and Emily stands in front of me. I place my hand over her scars and close my eyes.

I feel underneath my hand and I know the spell is working. When I open my eyes and pull my hand back I grin while the others gasp. All that's left of the scars are three white lines "I could heal them fully, but I'm sure that you don't want your fiancé with vampire blood in her system."

He nods, tears coming to his eyes as he sees that the scars are nearly invisible. "Thank you." Emily breaths, looking in a mirror. "They never bothered, but I know what they do to Sam, so thank you. This means so much." She grins, pulling me into a hug. I hug back tightly.

"Thank you Hope." Sam says, hugging Emily when we pull away. "Of course. I've wanted someone to confide in since my mom died. I haven't been able to talk to anyone here since. Now I have people." He nods.

"I'm sorry about the gag order, I know you needed them, but it was to maintain the safety of the pack. I'm sure you can understand." I nod. "I do." "Paul, I think you and Hope should take a walk. Explain things to her." Sam says, a stern look in his eye.

I turn to see Paul nod and stand from the table. "Come on, let's go to the beach, like old times." I grin at the prospect. "Yeah." I grab his hand and together we exit the house.
