"I don't think they're coming" said Jungkook, running a lazy hand through his dishevelled hair. He silently cursed himself for not managing to get a haircut before setting out on their guys weekend away, but work had been so crazy recently.
"I just want to be certain" muttered Jin, continuing to squint out of the window against the whiteout surrounding them, his eyes pressed hard against a pair of binoculars. "It's looking really treacherous out there now."
"I guess we should be grateful we arrived safely ourselves" shrugged Jungkook, making his way towards the kitchen area. "Cup of tea?"
"Yeah, sure" his friend agreed, only half concentrating. A small, red car had just come into view on the far side of the valley. He could just make out a single driver. Despite being wrapped up well against the cold, the driver was obviously a young woman.
At that moment, a shrill ringtone echoed around the room. Jungkook snatched up his phone and switched the device onto speaker, as Jin carefully placed his binoculars down, hoping for news that their friends were safe.
"Hobi? Is that you?" Jin demanded, trying his best to ignore the badly crackling line. The reception was horrendous.
"Yeah! Great weather, huh?"
"Superb" agreed Jungkook sarcastically. "Where are you?"
"We're still a good twenty miles from the cabin. I'm sorry, but we simply aren't going to make it."
"Understood" replied Jungkook. "At least you're okay. We'll get together another time."
"Is Yoongi with you?" queried Jin.
"No, he was travelling separately,' crackled Hobi's voice. 'He hasn't reached you yet?"
"No" confirmed Jungkook thoughtfully. "But out of all of us, he's the one I'd be least worried about. He's probably digging himself an underground shelter as we speak!" All the men laughed.
Once they'd ended the call and enjoyed a steaming mug of tea, Jin returned to his lookout post. There wasn't another building in sight, just white snow drifting threateningly, swirling black clouds dominating the sky and...still, that small, red car?
Jin peered forwards, surprised to note that the car had hardly travelled any further since the last time he'd seen it. Feeling his heart pound more vigorously, reflecting his anxiety, he squinted hard.
"Er, Jungkook?" he murmured, his eyes still fixed out of the window. "I think we might have a problem."
"Another one?" he grinned "What now?"
"I think there's a woman stranded in a car."
"Seriously?" he asked, jumping up from the sofa and striding across the room. "Jesus, Jin! That's fucking miles away!"
"Two miles, maybe? But she could be hurt..." said Jin pleadingly, as Jungkook squinted through the binoculars to check out the situation for himself. "We should go and help."
"Fine" he agreed. "You stoke up the fire, so this place is still warm when we get back. I'll get a rucksack together."

The men had been hiking through the freezing snowstorm for the best part of an hour. Thanks to wearing almost every item of outdoor kit they owned, they remained relatively warm, although Jin had to admit that he'd lost the feeling in his nose and feet.
At last, the little red car came into view.
Grateful to discover that the car door wasn't locked, Jungkook crouched down beside her in the snow, whilst Jin scurried around to the other door and sat in the passenger seat.
"She's breathing" confirmed Jin. "But we need to get her somewhere warm."
Lifting her carefully from the seat, Jungkook cradled the limp body in his arms and they set off back to the cabin.
"You need a hand?" asked Jin at one point, when they reached a steep incline, not far from their final destination.
"I'm okay" shouted Jungkook over the strong winds, grateful that his travelling companion had a slight frame. "You go ahead and set up a bed right in front of the fire. She's freezing. We have to get her warm."

Less than ten minutes later, an exhausted Jungkook fell through the front door, kicking it shut behind him. Laying the woman carefully on the double mattress which was now situated in front of a roaring fire, Jungkook momentarily slumped against the sofa, panting deeply.
Without needing to exchange words, it was obvious that Jin wasn't happy.
"She's far too cold. We have to get her warm."
"Well I'm boiling" complained Jungkook, stripping out of his jumper to reveal big, powerful arms beneath a short sleeved T-shirt which clung to his impressive form like a second skin. "I don't see how she can't be!"
"That's it!" exclaimed Jin, rapidly removing his jumper too. "The best thing we can do is give her our body heat."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive" confirmed Jin, quickly unbuttoning his shirt.
"Feels a bit...wrong. Without her consent."
"I'm not asking you to fuck her, man! I'm asking you to help fix her. Come on!"
"What now?"
Refusing to answer his friend's unhelpful question, Jin gently peeled the blankets away. Given that all of her wet clothing had needed to be removed upon arrival, she was down to just a vest top and panties. Repositioning her, she was then balanced on her side.
"We need to be touching as much of the surface area of her skin as possible" explained Jin, lying down in front of her, pressing his chest against hers. "You push up behind her and then we'll throw these blankets over the lot of us."
