Axelia slammed the door to the mansion the minute she returned from school. It had been a tiring day, not because of the load that school provided, but rather she had tried to maintain her stance, not give to Atlas. She had formulated a plan, in which she was going to make Atlas chase her, and when he was about to give up on the chase, she was going to agree, cruel? Maybe, but they were both from a Mafia family, cruel was their speciality.

"Daddy!" Axelia exclaimed as she opened the door to his office. "I don't think that it's fair that I have to-" She stopped midsentence as she realized that there was another presence, and it wasn't someone from her family. It was Ivan Dortmund. Swallowing and smiling at him, she added, "Mr Dortmund, it's a pleasure. Would you like some refreshments?" She questioned her father.

"Ah," Ivan chuckled. "Dear Axelia, how nice for you to join us." Both Raphael and Axelia raised an eyebrow. "My wife couldn't stop talking about your beauty, and well, my son is the same."

Axelia blushed at the comment. "Thank you," She whispered. "I'll let you return to your affairs." Ivan nodded. "Daddy, I will be going out to the library." She informed.

"Take three guards with you," Axelia raised an eyebrow. "Have fun." Was the only answer she got.

Nodding, she turned around and walked over to her room. There was something odd, not with her father, but rather with Ivan. She didn't want to think about it, but she had seen it back at his house as well. It seems to her, that Ivan didn't enjoy having a woman in the business, his wife was mere that, his wife. She had no voice inside the business, and she did not like it.

Ivan clicked his tongue after Axelia closed the door. "You should teach your daughter her place," He spoke, and Raphael frowned. "Barging into your office, disrespect."

"Her place?" Raphael chuckled. "Her place is right next to me, she is, after all, the heiress of the Moore Empire," He added with a strong voice. "You get that right?"

"She's a girl," Ivan retorted. "She can't rule."

Raphael smirked. "No, she won't rule, she'll conquer."

Atlas stared at his screen, he wasn't focusing, he didn't want to, he didn't want to listen to his father telling him that he needed to man up. Someone had reported that he had failed to get Axelia to sit with him, and now, he was pretending to be doing homework, so that his father wouldn't bother him, claiming that woman were merely things, that it shouldn't be hard to get her, he only needed to man up.

His father couldn't be more wrong, Axelia was not a typical woman that could be impressed by money or things, she already had everything that she desired, Axelia had to be won with experiences, reason, with true love. He couldn't and he didn't want to do this the wrong way, so he had decided to play along with Axelia, she was the prey, and he wanted to hunt.

"So," Ivan entered his son's bedroom. "I was at the Moore residence today," He spoke calmly. "We have the alliance, but I discovered something that might help you out."

Atlas turned from his laptop, to stare at his father. "And that might be?" He raised an eyebrow. "What have you discovered that might help me out?"

"Axelia Moore," He smirked. "Isn't like the girls I thought you about, at least not entirely." Atlas nodded. "She regularly visits the library, something about books being the one place where she can be truly free." And with that spoken, Ivan turned around and walked away.

Atlas assessed the new information he just got. Axelia Moore, the mysterious girl, had just given away one of her many enigmas, and with this one, he was sure to start solving all of them.

Amanda was talking nonstop, something about a boy, and Axelia couldn't care less. It wasn't like she didn't want to pay attention to her friend, but trivial things like boys, were not really on her agenda, although, one boy was... Atlas Dortmund, the very same boy that had just entered the courtyard and was now fast approaching her table.

"Good morning Axelia, Amanda," Atlas spoke with a small nod. "I was hoping to get a word with you Axelia,"

Axelia nodded, but before either Atlas or her could speak, Amanda jumped from her seat. "Well, I have a very important paper to finish! Bye!" She exclaimed as she hurried away, but not before mouthing Axelia "Tell me everything!"

Rolling her eyes, Axelia turned to face Atlas. "You may speak now," She smirked. "I haven't got all day," She added. "Duty calls."

Atlas took a seat in front of her. "I believe," He started. "That you don't want, nor need anyone getting close to you." Axelia simply stared at him. "Maybe, you've misinterpreted my actions Axelia," She raised her eyebrows, she was now intrigued. "I would indeed like to pursue you, but I find it, rather more important to get to know you first, so that you can get to know me too."

"Could you please, refrain from the story and just get to the morale?" Axelia questioned, pretending that she wasn't interested when in all reality she was more than intrigued. "I have other matters to attend, as I mentioned before."

Atlas chuckled. "Axelia, would you do me the honour of accompanying me, to the opening of the new Art Gallery, right by the library?"
