After a couple of months of 'peace' or what you call it when you work in the Mafia, Ivan Dortmund and Raphael Moore had gotten what they wanted since the very beginning: unifying their Mafias, not only on paper but with their children. Although it wasn't like Axelia and Atlas were going to get married any time soon, they had come together, and that meant that their Mafias were bounded by blood, which meant much more than paper...

Axelia had already decided that she was going to head overseas to get her degree in business and explore before she came back and took over what was rightfully hers, and Atlas had decided to follow her along. He wasn't sure what he wanted to study, but he simply knew that he couldn't let Axelia go. Even when they were young, Atlas had decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Axelia, and that meant following her wherever she went...

Raphael Moore and Ivan Dortmund spent more time together than either wanted, but it was all for a good cause. Even when the threat of Stalin was gone, other Mafias had heard what was going on, and thought that they could end exactly what Stalin had started. Other than that, their expansion had caused rifts between smaller gangs, and they had to be dealing with random break-ins and other stupid things.

Everyone knew that dealing with the Mafia was tedious work, yet the rewards were out of this world, and that is what made it worth it.

Axelia groaned as she heard her teacher talk about the topic in their class, she wasn't really paying attention, given that her father had told her about the mission that wasn't particularly easy, and she was worrying. Not that she really had to, but it was something that she couldn't help, after all her whole family was in danger.

Atlas sighed as the bell rang, it meant that he was finally going to be able to spend some time with Axelia. He had some news to share, given that his father had let him know about the mission everyone was doing. As he walked through the hallway, he sensed something wasn't right.

Axelia got out of her class to meet with Atlas when she saw some random men looking for someone. With her instincts high, she ducked around and located Atlas before grabbing him by the arm and entering a random classroom.

"What?" Atlas questioned. "Axelia?"

"They are here," She whispered. "Did you get any information regarding the mission?" Atlas nodded. "It was empty, wasn't it?" He nodded again and groaned. "We need to evacuate before these hallways turn into a blood bath,"

Atlas nodded. "I assume you already have a plan?" Axelia shrugged. "On a scale from 1-10, how much will I hate it?"

"One hundred," Axelia replied. "But we have to do it, as far as I know, they are looking for one of us, so if one of us is seen they will leave the school alone,"

"And you are going to sacrifice yourself?" Atlas rolled his eyes and Axelia nodded. "I'm calling our parents to let them know what is going on, hurry up, I'll meet you at the alley three blocks away from here,"

Axelia gave Atlas a quick kiss on the cheek before she burst into the hallway with a smirk on her face. She couldn't lie, the adrenaline she felt when she was saving someone, or her own life, made her happy. She knew she was born to be a Mafia Leader, and at this moment she was going to prove to everyone how good of a leader she was!
