Groaning and gasping for air, slowly the eyelids opened, and a groan could be heard. The hands wandered around the body trying to figure out the damage that had been inflicted. Once they found the injury, they studied what was the best option, the proceeded to stare at the other person...

Groaning they sat up. "Dammit," They cried. "This really wasn't part of the plan," They took in a deep breath and finally opened their eyes. "I, I survived," Alexia chuckled, but groaned in pain. "I can't believe I killed him," Axelia gasped as she understood what she had just said. Stalin Connor had been her first kill.

Slowing and trying not to wince in pain, Axelia stood up and made her way towards Stalin's body. She had to be sure that he was dead, she wasn't going to let that man live, not after everything that he put her through. She tried to look for his gun, or anything that she could use as a weapon.

"Please be dead," Axelia whispered as she approached him. She saw his gun lying next to him, quickly she got it and load it. "Please don't make me shoot you," She spoke. She stood tall right on top of Stalin Connor. Taking in a breath, she pulled out her knife, that had landed on his neck, blood started gushing out. "Just gotta be sure," She added before she fired the last bullets on the gun.

Axelia dropped the gun and turned around the warehouse. There was no way that she could let her family know that she was alive, and she also knew that it was going to be impossible for her to make her way back home on foot. Eyeing Stalin Connor, she crouched and examined if he had his phone with him, and just to her luck, he had a burner phone.

Dialing the number she knows by heart, she waited for answer. "Who's this?" The voice spoke and she sob.

"Daddy," Axelia croaked. "It's me, Axelia," She heard a commotion on the background.

"Where are you?" Raphael questioned. "Tell me little monster where are you? Where is Connor? Are you okay? Axelia answer!"

"He's dead," She whispered. "I am on his last warehouse, but please hurry, I've lost too much blood," She gulped. "Dad, I lo-" Before she could finish her sentence, she collapsed on the floor and Raphael Moore was already on the scene.

The first thing Axelia could assess was the disinfected smell she took in. Just by that she already knew she was at the hospital, after, she heard the beeping sounds cause by the machines around her. Slowly, she opened her eyes and tried to focus, she wanted to make sure that she was alone, but of course that wasn't the case.

Atlas sat in the corner of the room, waiting for Axelia to finally wake up. Ever since they brought her to the hospital, he hasn't left her side, not even when they cremated Stalin, he refused to leave her alone.

Blinking she tried to move to a sitting position, without alerting Atlas. She was surprised that he was here, and even when she refused to open her heart to him, she was losing her own battle, and she didn't like losing, but for that moment, she didn't mind.

"Hey," Axelia spoke after she managed to sit up.

"Axelia!" Atlas gasped as he ran to her side. "What are you doing sitting up? You need to be laying down," He panicked as he tried to get her on her back.

"Let me be," Axelia chuckled. "How are you? How long have I been out?"

Atlas laughed as he kissed her forehead. "Of course, you are going to ask how I am," He shook his head. "We are all doing fine, I will let your father know that you are up in a few, I want to enjoy you for a moment,"

Axelia blushed at the comment but opted to ignore it. "What did they do with Connor's body?" Atlas made a "poof" gesture. "How is Amanda doing? Has she said anything of what she wants?"

"Not at the moment no," Atlas replied. "You have been out two days," He sighed. "Your father, Luke and Erik have been camping here," He motioned to the corner. "They only let me stay through the day, so I am glad that you woke up right now," He chuckled.

Axelia gave him a sweet smile. "Do you think you can call my father?"

Atlas gave Axelia a simple nod before he stood up to make the phone call. He knew that once Mr. Moore was here, his chances of staying were low, and even when he didn't want to leave Axelia, he knew that she wanted to be with her family. She had just had the most horrible life experience ever, and even when he wanted to be her number one, he still wasn't on that list...

But he was more than willingly to wait.
