FIFTY THREE
IT SEEMED WORKING WAS the only thing that cheered George up. He was keeping himself busy in a healthy way. Rory was glad he had the shop to occupy himself. She was also glad she was now able to work for them full time and spend even more time with the twins, Kirsty, and even Verity. The shop was a good distraction.
Something that was not a good distraction was Order meetings. Rory liked them because she got to see everyone she cared about. However, the topics of each meeting just got darker. It was lighting a fire inside her though, a fire that told her to fight harder.
The twins felt comfortable enough letting Kirsty and Verity tend the shop by themselves and close up while they were at a meeting. They told the girls it was an important family dinner and in a way, it was.

Everyone else will be on Thestrals or brooms."
"How are we deciding who goes?" Molly asked quietly.
Mad-Eye looked around, his glass eye landing on each person in the room coldly, "For those taking the potion, we need people who're close to Harry. Who know him, his mannerisms... I have a few ideas."
Molly shut her eyes, probably to prepare herself of the next words to escape Mad-Eye's mouth.
"Ron and Hermione, they're of age. Fred and George. Fleur... and since it was his idea, Mundungus." He said.
Not many people liked the lineup, Rory was one of them.
"Hold on, why can't I go?" She spat, "I want to fight. Send me instead of Ron and Hermione, they're of age, sure, but they're still only seventeen —"
"You can't go," Mad-Eye responded, "We need you at your Dad's house with the Portkey. Constant vigilance, Archer."
Andrew looked up, "Well wait, how come I can't —"
