The evil in the castle

King

(Look at the video. It is fun and I come to think of this when I wrote this chapter. I think it is extra fun because I have two rabbits myself too.)

-Meliodas POV-

"Who did this to Elizabeth?!" I asked again. No one spoke and everyone looked down.

"Why would you do this to Elizabeth?" I asked and hugged her a bit tighter. My tears nearly falling.

"It wasn't meant for her." King spoke, making all of us look at him. Diane was the next to speak, asking "King? You did this?"

He nodded and said "Yeah, I'm so sorry."

I looked at Ban and he nodded in understanding. Then he took Diane and King and left the room. Closing the door after them.

"Please, Elizabeth, wake up!" I said and cried.

I sat there in hours, just hugging her unconscious body. I cried until I felt her move, just slightly. In hope she have awoken, I pulled her away a bit to see her start to open her eyes.

"M-Meliodas?" She asked, making me smile and ask "Yes? Elizabeth?"

"I feel sick." She said. I laid her down and put a blanket over her before saying "You will be fine, I promise."

She smiled at me, but then asked "H-have you been c-crying?"

I nodded as I felt tears dwell up in my eyes once more. Then I said "I was so worried that I would lose you!"

She smiled and coughed a bit. I'm just glad she have woken up again.

-Diane's POV-

Ban pulled us out of the room and to the kitchen. Then he asked "Why did you do that?! Why did you poison the princess?!"

"I-I, it wasn't meant for her." King said, making me ask "Who was it meant for then?"

"Meliodas." King said.

"I have already told you many times! He. Isn't. That. Bad! You would understand if you actually talked to him, but noooo, you should try to poison him!" Ban said.

"Ban's right. We didn't even try to get to know him." I said, feeling guilty. Then King responded with "Don't you remember what he did?! He had and still have us as prisoners! He killed everyone except us!"

"Actually, it is a thing that we never noticed when he killed them. He didn't kill them because he wanted to, he killed them because they begged him to." Ban said.

"Yeah right, why have we never heard it then?!" King asked. That's when I realized that Ban told the truth. Just before they died, they all told Meliodas to kill them and then they provoked him until he did take their lives.

"It's true King. Don't you remember everyone? They all said something like 'Kill me!' 'End my suffer!' and stuff. Then they provoked Meliodas." I said, making him look at me and ask "You too Diane?!"

"Well, I'm going to say sorry to Meliodas for how I treated him. We treated him like some kind of monster when all he did was end everyone's suffer!" I said.

"Well, I'm going to the nearest village! I'm not gonna stay here with a monster!" King said and walked away. Please don't cause any trouble.

Silence fell over the room as me and Ban walked to sit down. I was the one breaking the silence asking "Could you tell me a bit about Meliodas?"

He nodded and started telling me everything I needed to know.

After some hours, we heard footsteps and looked at the doorway. Elizabeth was there together with Meliodas. Meliodas had one hand on her waist and the other on her stomach to help her.

"M-Meliodas, I can go by myself." Elizabeth said. He responded with "I don't want you to get hurt by tripping or anything."

"So cute." I whispered and they both looked up at me and Ban. Meliodas was the first to speak, saying "I didn't know you guys was here. Where is King?"

"He left." Ban said, making Meliodas say "At least I don't have to be scared of him potion Elizabeth again."

Then Meliodas helped Elizabeth to sit down on a chair before asking "What do you want to eat?"

"I can take it b-" Elizabeth was cut off by Meliodas saying "No, I let you come down here, now you sit here until we are going back to our room."

That cough my attention even more.

"Our room?" I asked as he said that. Elizabeth blushed when I pointed that out. Then she nodded while Meliodas walked over and started looking for something.

Elizabeth didn't answer as Ban seemed as interested as I am. Suddenly a plate of cookies was in front of Elizabeth together with some strawberry juice. After that, Meliodas hugged Elizabeth from behind and said "I and my lovely princess is sharing a room."

Lovely princess? They are so cute together! Are they together? If not, I must make them go together!

"So, are ya a couple now?" Ban asked as Meliodas let go of Elizabeth and sat down beside her.

"Yep." Meliodas answered as Elizabeth took a cookie and started eating.

"Is the cookies for everyone?" Ban asked. Elizabeth and Meliodas nodded and not even a second later, Ban had snatched a cookie form the plate. Then I took one too.

We all started talking and me and Elizabeth asked Meliodas pretty many questions. Like hundreds of questions.

We was all having a good time when suddenly we could smell smoke and it was getting hotter in here.
