Teams of Two

The internet went out a while ago. It really sucks because I have been without internet for weeks and when I got it back it has been very slow. But after all of that I had to focus on college again which I am doing way to much. I hope you guys like this one.

The morning sun is coming up while Lucky and Spirit is having a morning ride. Some time during the riding they found a bunch of other horses riding together.

"Wow. Is that your herd, Spirit?" Lucky asked then Spirit responded with a chuff and they kept watching the horses until Lucky got off. "Go on. At least one of us won't be stuck inside all day." Lucky said petting and then looked out to see how far the town is.

"Don't worry. I can walk to school. Go have fun." Lucky said then Spirit went to go join his herd. Then Lucky started to head to school.

During this at class

Landon is sitting at his desk while Pru is in her's and Abigail is in front of Pru's talking to her.

"Do you think Lucky will be late? Class begins in five minutes." Abigail said getting worry.

"For all I care, she can late." Landon said with some attitude.

"What is up with you, you are pouting more then usual." Pru said as a joke but also want to find out why.

"Is it something about Lucky." Abigail said thinking she knows why he mad.

"I told you for the last time, I'm not mad." Landon said clearly mad.

"What happened?" Pru asked.

"Don't tell her Abiga—" Landon said before getting cut off.

"So what happened was...

Flashback 1 day ago

"Why are you doing this while Pru is busy? I bet she would like to this." Abigail said in front of Lucky and Landon on their horses. Landon and Lucky were beside each other with them glancing at one another.

"Lucky really wanted to lose in a race with me and she is getting impatient." Landon said cocky.

"That's not tru... Hope you are ready to lose Landon." Lucky said grabbing Spirit's mane and ignoring what she was about to say because it was true.

"Okay... what do I do here?" Abigail asked confused.

"Oh, you just need to count then we will start the race." Lucky said.

"You are also here to support Lucky when she loses." Landon said.

"Yeah, what he sa— Wait, don't say that. I will win this race and she would need to support you." Lucky said with a big grin.

"Let's just start the race." Landon said looking ahead ready for the race. Lucky saw this and started to copy him by what he was doing.

"Okay, I guess I will start the count down now." Abigail said a little nervous.

"I have been ready to beat you in weeks." Lucky said with a small grin.

"I'm am kinda sad that I will beat you, I feel so unlucky sometimes challenging someone as cute as you, Landon." Lucky said with a big grin looking at Landon who was blushing a little.

Lucky went and left Landon behind who was still in shock. Landon then snapped out of it then started to tried to catch up to Lucky. By the time he even got near Lucky she cross the line and beaten Landon by a few inches.
