"Momma pretty." She smiled as she smeared her mother's lip gloss causing Ava to frown slightly before letting out an amused laugh
"But you're prettier baby girl." She said as she kissed her daughter's lips quickly
"This is adorable. Really! but can't you see I'm having a crisis!!" Charlie said panicked as Ava looked at her friend in amusement.
"Charlie, breathe okay, Owen has had this planned for weeks okay? I'm not going to reschedule, I'll be gone an hour?- 2 tops then I'll be back with plenty of time to help you okay? Calm down, she's going to say yes okay?" She said as she used the same voice she used when she scolded Tabitha which admittedly happened rarely
"Okay mom." He said teasingly as Tabitha looked up, a look of anguish on her face.
"No! My mom!" She said as she climbed on Ava's lap and hugged her quickly
"Your mom, your mom." Charlie said holding up his hands defensively . . .
"You didn't!" Ava squealed as she climbed out of Owen's car and jumped up and down
"I did." He smirked as she took in the sight of the horses in front of them, fully tacked and ready for the two to go on their trail ride
