Hope's pov
To her surprise, Hope had woken up before Josie. She decided to go to the bathroom and then downstairs leaving her phone with a sleeping brunette on the screen in her room. As she was walking down the stairs, she could hear chattering. She entered the dining room and found her dad, mother, Aunt Freya and Keelin. She ran to hug her Aunts as she hadn't seen them in what seemed like forever.
After the hug departed, Hope was still, curious as to why they were here, not that it was a problem. "Why are you here?" Hope hoped that she didn't sound rude.
"We hadn't seen you in a while so we thought we should come by." Freya smiled at Hope as she said this and then turned to Keelin keeping the same smile.
They all sat down and began eating breakfast. The adults were all laughing at something Klaus, had said while Hope sat there rolling her eyes in confusion.
Eventually, Keelin had asked Hope, "Any news from you, then?" Hope didn't know the answer herself.
Hope just shrugged. Hayley had decided to answer for her, "She's been busy with photoshoots and interviews." She then looked over at Hope, looking proud of her which made Hope smile.
"Still too busy for relationships and friends?" Freya asks, referring to how Hope always used to say she didn't need or want friends. She would always say that she was too busy building a career when her family would ask about her friends. The real reason though was that she just didn't get along with anyone. People were intimidated by her and honestly, who could blame them?
Klaus answers before she gets the chance to, "She has made a new friend, Josie, is it?" Hope nods, she's surprised he brings her up. Freya and Keelin look interested so Hope feels the need to elaborate.
"Yeah, we met on Instagram. I've known her for months" Hope can't help but smile at the thought of Josie.
"I actually liked one of her Instagram posts, she's very pretty" Hope knew that Freya had liked Josie's post honestly, it was kind of embarrassing.
"There's been a few pages of news websites talking about you two actually" When Keelin says this, Hope can feel herself go red. Her and Josie dating? The rest of them laugh while Hope just sits there rolling her eyes playfully.
"Is she your type then, Hope?" Freya practically laughs the sentence out, and Hope can't decide whether she's being serious, or not. Hope just chokes on her drink, clearly thrown off from the question. This just sets everyone's laughter off again.
All of a sudden, Hope remembers she left Josie on the phone. "Oh shoot" Hope rushes to stand up and runs back up the stairs, hoping Josie hasn't ended the call. To her surprise, Josie hadn't ended the call but still wasn't on the screen. After a few minutes, Hope had gotten bored so, decided to start painting. There was nothing she enjoyed more than painting in one of her father's baggy tops well, except maybe talking to a certain brunette. She collected one of her dad's tops, put it on and began painting.
She was halfway through when she decided to take a break when she realised Josie had been sitting, watching her paint.
"How long have you been watching me for, creep?" Hope couldn't help but smile, overly happy she got to talk to her favourite person again.
"Not that long and hey, it's not my fault you're adorable when you're concentrating" Okay, so, Hope may have blushed a little bit, so what?
"What were you painting anyway?" Hope pauses and sighs for a moment before reluctantly standing up and taking the painting carefully off of the easel. She turned the canvas around to reveal the painting of what you could easily tell was Josie.
