yes it is; I think I've heard your name before, could you remind me?

Maxons pov
The morning was hectic as everyone was on their nerves. Of course they were, we're meeting the future queen for crying out loud!
I took lady Celeste's advice and wore a dark blue suit. All the 35 men were wearing suits and surprisingly no one was wearing a blue suit, which was a surprise as it is a really common colour.
Me, Justin, carter and aspen were talking. Aspen was slowly opening to us and I was glad.
An hour ago we were given each a number to tell us which order we will be meeting the princess.
And guess what?
I was no. 35
Literally the last person!
It's okay it just means you will have more time with America
"Gentlemen please keep an eye out for your chance. No.1 please come out" Silvia announced.
I was totally at ease, I was actually glad I was last.
I watch one by one as the room started emptying. And soon all my friends were gone and I sat alone till it was my turn.
I opened the door to the men's room and saw America facing the other way. She turned and our eyes locked together. Her eyes show recognition.
Phew
I thought she would have forgotten about me. I looked into those blue eyes and slowly bow and kiss the back of her hand without looking away from her.
Her eyes sparkled with mischief "maxon, is it?" She smirked
"yes it is; I think I've heard your name before, could you remind me?" She laughs freely and hugs me
Let me repeat...
SHE HUGGED ME!!
I was so shocked that it took me a second to hug her back
"It's nice to see you again" My heart started beating faster and I smiled.
"It's nice to see you too" I wish I could stop time and just stand there with America in my arms and kiss and hold her and never worry about anything else. But too soon, a throat cleared and America snapped back to reality and she pulled back and I was kind of disappointed.
We both sat down and I remembered something "so I saw the pictures they took that day, the king might be really mad" she dismissed my apology with a wave of her hand
"Not at all, I guess he doesn't really read some magazines" i laughed
"Shocker"
We went on and talked about my family and I was shocked when she said she wanted to meet my family.
Soon a maid came and whispered something to America
"Oh I'm so stupid! You must be hungry and I was blabbing, I'm sorry."
"It's fine it was worth it" she blushed and we stood up and walked towards the great hall together.
We bowed to the king and queen and I didn't miss the look the queen gave America and the redness of her cheeks.
We went our separate ways and as I was sitting I heard someone laughing. I looked up and saw lady Celeste laughing loudly while America just blushed.
I raised an eyebrow to ask her what's wrong but she just blushed deeper and shrugged.
Well I guess we'll never know.....
