I jumped up from my bed when I heard the knock at my door. I opened it and a smirking celeste came inside.

"soooo?" I asked she just looked at me

"I met Maxon" she said like I should know the rest

"he's here?!" I asked her

"of course he's here. and he's super cute" I blushed "I know"

"What did you both talk about?"

"nothing. I just knocked on his door and before I can ask him anything aspen walked out of his room. did you know they have rooms across from each other?"

I sank in my bed "I didn't know that"

she sat beside me "so if you don't like Maxon, I'll gladly take him" she winked at me

I didn't answer her because I didn't know how to answer to her

the next day I woke up at 7 because I had to get ready and meet 35 boys till 9 before we start breakfast.

Marlee and Anne helped me in my dress. mary was sick today so I asked her to rest.

Marlee did my makeup and put my hair in a loose braid on the side. Celeste walked in and we walked down to the front of the men's room.

according to Silvia, one by one all the selected will walk out and I have a maximum of 2 minutes with each.

the first boy came out. he had dirty blond curly hair with green eyes. he reached me and bowed gracefully.

"Aren Edwell, pleasure to meet you my majesty" he was really good looking and I couldn't see anything wrong with him yet

"the pleasure is mine. I really like your name" I try to start with a compliment.

"thank you. I really like your hair."

"I get that a lot" we both laughed

soon 2 minutes were over and he left with a kiss on the back of my hand.

next was Orion Jensen, he had black hair and blue eyes. he was good too but the whole time he was looking at Celeste, who was sitting beside me. after 2 minutes he left

"you can have him. I have other 34" celeste laughed

"how generous of you" I shrugged innocently

after some more awkward moments, next was Carter Woodwork. while we were talking Marlee walked over to me to tell me that mary was feeling better and came back to work, I told her to look after her. Marlee and carter made eye contact and she quickly walked out.

I saw carter's eyes follow her all the way out. I coughed and he blinked back to reality.

"I'm sorry your majesty that was rude." I laughed and waved his apology off. he stood up to leave and I whispered to him

"Marlee is really pretty" he blushed a little and I winked at him.

after he was Justin Miller. he too had black hair but what struck me was his eyes. I couldn't tell if he had green eyes or blue eyes. it's like it changed colors every minutes

he kissed my hand without breaking eye contact and I smiled

he smiled back and I think my knees went jelly beneath me.

"so what are your interests?" I asked to stop myself from staring at him

"mainly music. I play the piano, the violin and the guitar" I smiled excitingly
