"Man that was hilarious!" Xander exclaimed who just couldn't stop himself from laughing. Well everyone was laughing their asses off over something Marty had said. She herself was trying to hold back her own laughter and Ethan who's sitting beside her was also trying to contain himself but is apparently failing seeing how his shoulders are slightly shaking.
Marty continued his story on how they almost got caught by Kayla's colonel father inside her room making out. Martin, being the idiot that he is jumped out of the window which earned him a broken arm and now he's in a cast.
"Marty next time that you're gonna sneak into a colonel's daughter's room bring a parachute with you. That would prevent any further damages." Says Alicia who's also laughing uncontrollably.Kayla is hiding her face behind her boyfriend's back probably feeling humiliated.
"Man this is way better than being buried alive in Colonel Evans backyard!" He uttered pointing to the cast in his arm. Once again they all burst laughing. She had to agree with him on that though. Kirsten had seen Kayla's father more than a few times and he was so intimidating and the aura was just so powerful. He is overprotective to Kayla and she can only imagine Marty tumbling down the stairs running for his life while being chased down by Colonel Evans with a shotgun. The thought itself makes her chuckle.
Everyone is now sitted in one of the many round tables scatterred all over the Barrets's garden. They were just done eating and were now sipping champagne the waiters had served. She was sitted between Ethan and Alicia. Sitting next to Ethan is Kayla and then Marty and across her is Xander who has Lucy pressed to him a little over possesively it sickens her.
Lucy she can say is nice though a little clingy but she doesn't know why she doesn't like the girl. Oh come on Kirsten! You know very well why you don't like the girl. You're jealous!
She sigh. Yes I guess I am. She'd been crushing Xander, her bestfriend's brother for over 3 years now and that was eversince she became friends with Alicia and it annoys her that the feeling just won't go even after seeing him dating other girls. She met him when she and Alicia were partnered for a science project. They went to Alicia's place after school to do the project. They were already done and just sitting in their living room chatting and laughing when a tall brown-haired boy entered the living room. He was shirtless and sweating excessively. His damp wavy hair was covering his forehead. His shirt was slung over his one shoulder and a basketball was clutched on his arm. Hunk. That was her first impression. Alicia introduced the guy as her big brother and when he smiled showing off two dimples on both of his cheeks, Kirsten knew it was love at first sight!
She and Alicia became surprisingly the bestest of friends considering how they were almost opposites. Alicia had always been the outgoing one while she, on the other hand was the quiet type. She hates being around too many people. She always follows the rules. Would rather stay at home and study. She doesn't really consider herself that much of a nerdy for at least she doesn't wear glasses and braces! And to top it all she wears short shorts and skinny jeans! She just doesn't want to be put on a spotlight that's it.
Xander goes to the same school as them and on the same grade though he is a year older than them. Over the years she had become close to him as well. He would always tease him whenever possible and he would always say he considers her as a sister. Imagine how that hurts. She and Ali would always go watch his basketball games which doesn't help at all in her trying to let her feelings fade. He was so good at that sport that she always find herself swooning everytime he gets to shoot the ball. She tried her best for Ali to not get a single hint. When Xander introduced Lucy to the group as his girlfriend she thought the feeling would die. But she was wrong.
