Part 13 - Some Quality Time

"...UP"

".T UP"

"GET UP"

I shot my body up off my bed not able to keep both eyes open or my head straight up.

"GET UP OR YOU'LL BE LATE! NOW!" The prefect hollered even louder. It irked having her yell at me, but I don't have the energy to hit her right now. I quickly and lazily did everything I needed to get to class, tiredness still knotted in my being.

I got to the building that my class was in, my eyes still barely open. I bumped into people on my way to the room not reacting in the slightest. I knocked into someone who was a lot stiffer than everyone else.

"I didn't even move and you still walked into me." Jimmy stated. I could hear the smirk on his face. "You didn't sleep well huh?"

"Mm-mm" I desperately shook my head no, my body pleading for sleep. I was too tired to speak, it felt like I blinked and then I had to wake up. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them wide with the desire to be awake enough to go to class and sleep. The only thing it did was make my eyes feel dry.

"..how does that sound?" Jimmy finish his sentence. Was he even still talking to me? He was kind of facing the other way, not even making eye contact. Wa- was he blushing?

"What?" I hadn't filtered my reaction at all. My face was pinched up with confusion, whatever he said I heard none of it.

He took a deep breath in and a breath out, apparently he's already tired of me."Do you want to go to sleep?"

A weak 'yes' was pushed out, with a small simple nod. He snickered at my poorly functioning figure and lead me out the building.

I didn't know exactly where I was going but I trusted Jimmy, and I wanted to sleep without getting hit in the head with rolled up newspaper by a perfect. I did somehow notice we were heading off campus.

"Where we go?" I questioned being a bit curious.

"To the lighthouse" he answered oddly excited. I just gave a quick ok as I got on the bike.

——- Time Skip ——-

I got off the bike to head towards the lighthouse and was actually feeling more awake, but it was too late to turn back now. Jimmy was in front of me ready to open the door with a bit of excitement, a state I rarely see him in.

"You ready?" He looked as if he did something, I'm not sure if I should be scared or excited.

"Am I ready? What did you do?" I interrogated him, as if I'd get answers that easily. All I got was an excited 'you'll see', as he opened the door. I squinted unsure of how to prepare myself for what I might see.

I could feel Jimmy awaiting a reaction or answer so I slowly opened my eyes to see and cleaned room. There was carpet on the floor and the bed looked a lot better. I walked in to opened a mini fridge and to my surprise it was cold and had drinks in it. There was a shelf with a few trophies. Even an arcade game which looked a little used but, looked like it worked.

"Woah when did you do all this?" I questioned in complete amazement.

"Well I couldn't sleep last night and decided to work on this place..." he trailed off as I was looking around more to find new things that weren't here last time I was. "And a few people owed me a couple of favors so they helped too."

When I looked back at him he had his arms open, proud of what he did.

"Bet you can't beat me at that ConSumo game" I stated, pointing to the vintage arcade machine behind me.

"You're on!" Jimmy shouted going up to the machine and putting in a coin.

He started playing, but then he didn't stop. He was either good at the game or it was extremely easy. He had been playing for almost 15 minutes. There were times I was sure he was going to die but he didn't. It was a little frustrating because I didn't even get a turn yet.

I felt my phone vibrate from a phone call I looked down to see the caller ID; (G/n). I had just remembered that we were supposed to have lunch together and talk about why she needed my help. I quickly turned from the game and picked up;

"Hello?" Once I said that. I could hear Jimmy lose interest in the game and gain it in who I was calling.

" (Y/n)?..Yea..Are you on campus?..well no actually..Oh?..yea no I'm, uh out right now..Oh well I was going to cancel our lunch because of the weather..oh?..Yea is pouring out..ooh," I turned to the window to see that it looked like a storm outside. "yea it is..So tomorrow?.. ok,same time?..Yep!..ok, bye..Bye!"

"Who was that?" Jimmy asked me, genuinely wanting to know, and me to tired to mess with him I told him the truth.

"It was (G/n) she cancelled the plans we had to meet up today."

"What did she want to meet up for anyway?"

"I don't know" I shrugged my shoulders in ignorance, "beats me. But look at the storm its raining like hell out there"

"Damn it is," he said looking past you out the window, "sooo, you're staying here tonight?" Jimmy asked me with high hopes.

"Yea, you think I'm gonna go back there just to get detention?" I exclaimed with a smile on my face while he smiled back. This is going to be a fun night.
