chapter 13

(Jughead's P.O.V)

I am on my way to Archie's house and I am listening to music to calm my nerves. I arrive at Archie's house and I see him waiting on the porch. He stands up as I walk over to him taking my headphones off. He kisses me on the lips and I kiss him back lightly. He smiles at me.

"Come in Jug," he says nicely.

He seemed different tonight, like he was hopefully trying to change. I follow him into his house.

"You hungry?" he asks.

"I'm good but thank you," I say carefully so I don't piss him off.

He nods his head and goes upstairs with me following behind him. After both of us were in his room he shut and locks the door. I wait for the worst to happen but he just walks over and presses our lips together softly. Maybe he actually was trying to change. He stops kissing me and sit down on his bed patting the bed beside him, I sit next to him cautiously.

"Who were those people you were with?" he asks.

"Just people I was hanging out with," I say shrugging.

Archie stands up quickly and pushes me down hard on the bed, before he sits on top of me. I struggle against him but he holds my hands above my head with one of his own. I gasp as he punches me hard in the side.

"So you have new friends huh?" he states coldly punching me harder.

"N-no they are just at my school," I say breathing unevenly.

He punches me a couple more times before he drags me off the bed and slams me into a wall.

"Why the fuck would they want to hang out with you?"

"Because I'm not a jackass like you," I say biting back at his comment.

I see his eyes darken by what I said to him. He punches me in the side like a hundred times. I get weak and almost fall if it wasn't for Archie slamming me into the wall again.

"Nobody wants you that is why you're with me,"

"I will always want you" he says.

He kisses me again only this time I don't kiss him back. After hitting me a few more times he lets go of me. I hold myself up even though it hurts like hell to do so.

"This is why your dad keeps leaving you, because you're a nuisance and fuck everything up. You deserve everything that happens to you," he states confidently.

"Can I go?" I ask quietly trying to not show that he got to me.

"Yes, as a matter of a fact I am going to kiss my girlfriend." he says.

I look at him with shock, I couldn't believe that he was with someone else. I burry my feelings down.

"Great, are they ok?" I ask not wanting to be here but wanting to make sure the girl was ok.

"She is fine, she doesn't deserve it like you" he says.

I nod my head and quickly leave the room after unlocking the door. I remember I still have to go to Pop's so I start my walk there. I wasn't sure if I could hide my immense pain from Pop Tate. I guess I'll have to be better at hiding things then I usually am.

I reach at about eight-thirty and sit at my normal booth. My side was hurting like hell and everything Archie said was becoming harder and harder to push down. I was bothered that he was cheating on as well, I didn't know he would do something like that.

"Jughead?"

"Uh-what?" I say seeing Pop Tate standing at my table.

Well that was a good start.
