Part 53 Origin Part 4

Using his trusty Gatling gun "Metzelei" a barrage of ammo filled the air as they made there way to Darkseid's forces, the scene from the one sided slaughter made Orion look at Hajime with a spark of relief with a hint of hesitation.

"... Why are you here" asked Orion hesitantly .

"Your All farther and me came to a conclusion in which we both benefit from me and Yue cleaning up your mess. So just sit tight and stay out of our way".

After speaking Hajime charged forward shooting down any Parademon's in his way with Yue behind him backing him up from the rear.

As the two go off into the distance Orion contacts his soldiers using his hover pad to tell them that back up has come to help. 

"... All soldiers currently on the battlefield help has arrived, look out for 2 individuals 1 male dressed in black with an eye patch and mechanical arm the other a female who is dressed in white with blonde hair. These 2 were sent for support from the All Farther himself so if your fighting for your life as a proud soldier of New Genesis prove it right here and now".

Orion's speech echoed through there com's and in doing so he boosted there morale to get them to fight harder then they ever have before. They charged into battle with there spirits held high.

Amongst the battlefield DeSaad observed the scene.

"How intriguing I must report this back to master Darkseid at once".

DeSaad knelt down as he contacted his master.

"DeSaad for what purpose have you contacted me" said Darkseid as he stood stall with his arms around his back.

"Master a... situation has occurred which was outside our expectations for the invasion".

"What situation".

"2 individuals of unknown origin have been fighting off our forces depleting our army drastically giving the enemy the advantage on the battlefield. In the short time of their involvement we have lost nearly 2/3 of our army of Parademon's alone".

"How long have they been active".

"It is coming up to 20 minutes my master".

"..."

"Master?"

"Send Steppenwolf to deal with the intruders".

"As you command".       

With his talk over DeSaad stood up and contacted Steppenwolf for his new orders. Meanwhile on the battlefield the soldiers of New Genesis were pushing back the horde of Parademon's while Hajime was making his way to them from the rear.

"Nn... Hajime look were almost there that should be the last of them".

"I see them don't worry Yue, lets take care of these guys then set out to claim what's ours".

"Right".

As the two approached what seemed like an easy victory a surprise bang on the ground from in front of the soldiers changed that completely around. The force was so big it sent the men into the air only to rain back down with smoke emanating off of their bodies.

"What the?" said Hajime.

The cause of the explosion was Steppenwolf's 'Electro Axe' pounding the earth.

Lifting his weapon back up Steppenwolf spoke with a big smile on his face. "Ha ha ha I am the mighty Steppenwolf general in the glorious army of the invincible Darkseid, many have fallen before my axe begging for mercy and after I kill you you wont be the last to taste it's blade so prepare your self intruders for a gruesome and horrific death". 

"... If you say so p%ick now stop yapping on and lets do this already" stated Hajime with out a caring tone.

Frowning at Hajime's remark Steppenwolf charged forward.

After clearing the distance with only a mere few feet away and lifting his axe into the air Steppenwolf swung down his weapon with all of his might. Many powerful enemy's have fallen due to his swing and in this moment he thought no different, however unlike every foe he fought against so far none of them have been like Hajime before and in the next moment after attacking he would of come to regret his decision for as long as he had left.

Bringing down his attack Hajime defended by catching Steppenwolf's axe with his left hand with minimal effort although due to the force behind it Hajime's feet sunk a little bit into the ground creating a small crack beneath him. Directly facing into each other at what happened Steppenwolf made a shocked face as he released a high energy voltage attack from his weapon hopping to stun Hajime so he could then finish him off.

As electric energy attacked Hajime's body all he did was stand still not moving a single muscle at all except tilting his head down. As smoke emanated off of him implying he had been paralyzed in place Steppenwolf attempted to get back his axe however as he tried to get it back Hajime's grip would not let go.

"What the?" said Steppenwolf.

"... You know I had hoped a little that you would of had something else up your sleeve but it would seem that I set my hopes to high. Honestly speaking though you are such a let down" said Hajime still looking down.

"... Do you think that you've won just by stopping a single one of my attacks".

"No, I've won by simply keeping you in place. NOW YUE" shouted Hajime.

"Nn... right, "Crystal Coffin".

Ice started to form at Steppenwolf's feet freezing him in place then his torso spreading to his chest then arms and finally his neck. His whole body was frozen in place by Yue's spell.

Unable to move Steppenwolf spoke struggling to set him self free.

"Release me now or you will suffer for this".

Looking up and straight at him Hajime talked back "I don't think so".

That next moment Hajime Kicked his leg out of the ground and into Steppenwolf's arms shattering them both on the spot. Blood dyed iced fell onto the floor as he screamed in pain.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH".

Unable to fully understand what happened Steppenwolf pleaded for his life.

"P... p... please please spare me I... I swear if you do you won't regret it".

Hajime only stared at him briefly before speaking.

"You know you talk way too much for a dead man".

"Huh?"

That next moment Hajime tossed the axe he still held into the air before catching it with his right hand and slicing through Steppenwolf's neck decapitating him right then and there.
