Part 28 Oh Come On

As a boom tube appeared out of knowhere with Kalibak leading the charge along with the sudden declaration that he would take Hajime back to his father Darkseid by force the League members faced flash with an annoyed and frustrated expression.

"... Clark you and me will charge at and take care of Kalibak and the parademons following him so they cant get near Hajime. While were doing that Flash you stay here and look after Hal seeing as how he is too injured to move a muscle or let alone fight back" said Cyborg.

"On it and what about our icy friend over here" said Flash.

"As long as he's frozen he cant cause any harm".

Assuring Flash that everything will be fine Cyborg and Superman flew out to meet there enemy right at there front door.

Upon seeing his old foes Kalibak decreed his might.

"Now lets see if you fools have what it takes to stop and the mighty Kalibak. Parademons attack and annihilate them both".

Loud monstrous screams were emitted in the vacuum of space before they attacked. 

As the 2 sides engaged Superman attacked first using his heat vision to burn the parademons apart to reduce there troops even if it was by a little bit. Following his lead Cyborg took out his cannon and blasted his enemy with full force. 

With each side getting closer to one another Kalibak's army looked all the more challenging as the small army in the distance from before now looked like to be a sea of monsters that wouldn't be easy to beat. The odds were not in the heroes favor.

With the gap between them getting smaller Superman took the first swing in the fight aiming his right fist at Kalibak who was in his line of view. Upon seeing Superman Kalibak copied his foe.

When both aliens swung there fists a small boom was made from the blows that connected blowing the parademons back while only knocking Cyborg slightly off course. Superman and Kalibak continued to hit each other as Cyborg was faced to take on the parademons all alone. 

"Alright you monster rejects bring it on" said Cyborg while blasting at them.

The parademons flew at Cyborg readying there sharp teeth and fangs eager to tear him apart. The first wave of demons attacked and with Cyborg blasting them apart scattering there remains in space more kept coming faster then he could deal with. As he fought Cyborg punched clean through a parademons body killing it instantly as well as ripping the head off a second one, blasting through the torso of a third one which continued on through killing many more behind it and sent out a specialized magnetic pulse which exploded the body's of dozens of parademons all at the same time. Even though he was doing well it still was not enough to beat them all.

"WATCH TOWER ACTIVATE DEFENSE SYSTEM J2-6F NOW" screaming Cyborg while dealing with a parademon that jumped on him from behind.

At that next moment cannons and blasters appeared from the outside structure of the Watch Tower taking aim at the threat it was specifically designed to handle. A barrage of shots flooded the enemy in every direction killing hundreds if not more however as impressive as it was some parademons managed to slip through.

Looking behind him Cyborg quickly tried to communicate with Flash in a heart beat.    

"Flash its up to you now make sure none get far into the Watch Tower".

"Don't worry Cyborg you can count on me".

Seeing the parademons ahead of him Flash decided to run in a circle hundreds of times repeatable to help generate his attack. He shot out a huge bolt of lightning using his arm from the force he created aiming it straight at his foes. The blast hit one parademon then spread to another killing each one the same way and because the attack is working so well the threat level has drastically gone down.

"Hmph you see that Hal that's how its done".

"Good job or though you could of at least used the phantom zone projector once or twice you know it could of come in handy".

"Yeah about that Batman said that it only has enough power for one shot so when that's used up it can't be used again for a while so that's why I decided to hold back from using it as much as I possible could".

"Why does it only have one shot?"

"Apparently because it can send people to the phantom zone with ease lowering how many times it can be used lowers its energy signature so people that may try to find it will have a difficult time in doing so. Even Cyborg would have a hide time with tracing its location".

"Batman is as paranoid as ever huh".

"Well I suppose you could say tha..."

In that moment Flash was struck into a wall by a parademon that managed to slip through the barrage of attacks and get in close.

"BARRY" shouted Green Lantern in response to that action.

Hearing the scream the parademon turned its head to Green Lantern and lunged right at him.

"Ah hell".

Green Lantern was pushed through multiple walls below by the parademon bringing the frozen Lobo with them.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH huh huh huh ooowwwwww damn it all". 

Green Lantern was now in even more pain then before due to the sudden crash. Seeing him struggle the parademon attacked however before it could kill its prey it was squashed flat by the Lobo on ice from above.    

"... ha ugly bastard serves you right".

At that moment when Green Lantern was celebrating his miraculous win the ice containing Lobo started to crack and break apart.

Noticing this Green Lantern spoke "... oh come on".
