Part 27 Jinx

The person that froze Lobo solid was none other then the man of steel himself Superman that suddenly appeared out of thin air. With the situation being nothing else but confusing Green Lantern tried to make sense of the situation just took place.

As Green Lantern collected his thoughts Superman spoke up. "Is every body OK is anybody seriously injured".

"Hal's arms seem to be broken and Diana is knowhere to be found but judging from the hole in the ground I can only assume that she got knocked through and knowing how tough she can be she's probably just fine" said Cyborg as he was turning his cannon back into an arm. 

"I see... well as long as everybody is still alive then I suppose that we can call this a win huh" said Superman reassuring himself that everyone is alright.

While laying on the floor in a beaten up mess Green Lantern spoke ruining the victorious mood.

"Ahhhhh..... huh huh huh huh.... Cyborg, Superman can you help me out here. And why your at it can you 2 explain how you managed to get the upper hand and pull this hole thing off?"

"There is no need to push yourself alright Hal you'll be fixed up in no time" said Cyborg as he grabbed his friend and rested him against a wall.

"And regarding how this worked let me explain. When I had the idea for the cold gun and went to get it Superman smashed through the wall in front of me. When I went to see if he was ok he stood up and was eager to get back to you but at that moment before he took off I came up with an idea. I would cause a distraction when I found your location and when I saw Lobo being knocked into the Watch Tower I knew where to look thanks to the security feed in my system. And when I would cause  the distraction Clark would hit Lobo with the freeze gun stopping him in his tracks. From what I saw this was the right choice".

"... ha ha ha well thanks for the help you 2 managed to pull it off" Green Lantern could only chuckle at his words.

At that next moment Flash arrived with the phantom zone device in hand ready to blast Lobo away.

"Hey guys you don't worry about Lobo anymore because with this device I can sto..."

Flash was struck speechless as he set his sight on Lobo.

"... Well I guess Batman sending me ahead with myself thinking that I would save us all wasn't needed after all huh... I just made it awkward for myself didn't I".

The League members present made a small smile to his remark as Flash turned his gaze due to the small embarrassment that fell on him.

(Apocalypse during the same time)

"Master I have come to report back about Lobo and the situation regarding the other worlder" said DeSaad while grovelling.

"What is the situation".

"Viewing threw the drone I sent as a witness without the bounty hunters knowledge regarding the subject known as Hajime it would appear that Lobo has failed to capture him and instead he is held prisoner by the Justice League".

Darkseid was silent as he stood up from his throne with his back to DeSaad while viewing over his ruled subjects.

"Ma... master?"

Through the nerve racking silence Darkseid's omega beams suddenly emerged and blasted from his eyes and zig-zagged there way to DeSaad as he knelt down. Before he could react DeSaad burst into flames from the omega beam blast through out his entire body as it pierced it's way through not hitting any vitals resulting in a slow and excruciating death. He could only scream out in agony on the floor until he met his ultimate end.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........."

"I do not tolerate failure DeSaad not even from you".

Darkseid showed no emotion as he walked past the smoking charcoaled body and went to summon his son Kalibak.

A figure emerged only minutes after being summoned.

"Father how I may be of assistance" Kalibak only spoke after kneeling at Darkseid's feet.

"Take some parademons and go to the Justice Leagues Watch Tower to retrieve an individual known as Hajime that is there. He is a key needed to destroy our enemy's once and for all".

"By your command" Kalibak stood up and gathered his small army prepared to do battle. Once all was ready he boom tubed to the Watch Tower to fulfill his fathers wish.

(Watch Tower moments after Flash arrived)

"All right already I get it now can we please stop with the laughs from you seeing me trying to act cool and heroic and just send Lobo on his way" said Flash.

"Barry's right we send Lobo to the phantom zone and be done with him. Then after that we can all meet up heal our wounds and rescue Hajime's dear person of interest" stating Cyborg.

"Great although if I'm honestly speaking I thought it would be harder then this".

"... Barry please don't jinx it".

"Come on Clark what's the worst that could happen".

A boom tube appeared moments after that with Kalibak leading the charge.

"Puny humans I Kalibak have come for an individual named Hajime and he is needed on my home planet Apocalypse so I am taking him to my father as ordered as his second in command  any resistance will result in a quick death".

Cyborg, Superman and Green Lantern slowly turned there gazes to Flash. If looks could instantly kill Flash would be dead 3 times over.

"Huh... you just had to go and say it didn't you" grunted Green Lantern.

"OK... that one is on me" stated Flash.
