At 6 Shiv arrives home and by 9 the lunch gets prepared and we both have our dinner and finally we drift off to sleep sharing our daily routine with one another.
This is my daily routine since we started living there. Shiv started working as a physical education trainer in the town's high school as he was an expert at that.
On weekends we go out for shopping , watch a movie and visit the nearby park. That was my life there. We have finally adapted and moulded our life as an average husband and wife of the country. With the time I spent with him and my busy schedule actually never left me alone and I never thought of the past too.
We have finally recovered from everything and we have a great time there. After a month has passed a nightmare has haunted me back to the past.
I was walking down a lone street with Shiv hand in hand with him. The entire street was dark and there was hardly any light there. There was a lamp at the end of the street and it was flickering. Yet I didn't care as long as Shiv was on my side I don't need to fear for any. We almost reached the end of the street and out of nowhere a silhouette emerged from the bushes at the end. I froze in place and held Shiv tight. He lost hold of me and started walking towards the silhouette.
"Shiv... don't go!!!" I shouted in terror.
He didn't listen or pretended to be and moved ahead. I ran after him and held to his hand and stopped him.
"Shiv...let's get out of here" I looked around to the back of the path we walked though it was dark too it seemed a safer place than the silhouette slowly approaching us.
The silhouette finally reached the place where the light was flickering and the first thing that captured my gaze was his eyes..... the same magnificent..... hypnotizing and dangerous eyes that were staring right into mine. There he stood in his all glory. His paralysed hand was straight and erect and his other hand went to take something from his pocket.
I pulled Shiv towards me with all the might I could. When my gaze shifted to HIM....His left hands pistol was already pointing at Shiv. Shiv slowly moved towards him. This time I tried my best to stop blocking his way reaching him. I didn't understand why he was moving towards him. He was not even listening to me. He suddenly pushed me aside and I fell on the floor.
Rising myself I looked at Shiv who was yards away to him. I ran to him when HE with an evil smirk he shot Shiv. A loud scream escaped me and My eyes widened with horror...
"NO!!!" I woke up from the dream. I was panting heavily and my hands went to cup my cheeks. I sensed sudden movement beside me. Shiv too woke up and switched the bed lights on.
"What happened???" his voice was heard. My panting slowly ceased and I closed my eyes bending my head and rubbing my forehead. I tried to calm myself.
