"But Officer, how can you come to the conclusion that our medicines are hazardous that too based on an accusation of a single person... of whom there is not even a proper identity.."

I was busy trying to convey the actual point to the officers since two hours and they were not paying attention at all. The accusation was laid by a single person. He did so by sending the documents with platonic proofs that the medicines had a harmful effects on a certain people who have been diagnosed with their hospital and health reports. I was not getting the point that if he was sure about himself and his accusations why wasn't he himself appeared there.... he just sent the documents to the ministry of health.

"But the proofs are not platonic they are real. We have come here to take action with proper proofs Nithya ji. "the officer said.

I had no hope left. I was really disappointed with myself. Dad has put me in such a great position with the faith that I would handle and keep up this, but I have failed... I guess!!!

The officers have their papers to get signed by me. I was trying to convince them though it was not really working out.

"Nithya ji.... just sign them up."

"But..." I interrupted when I heard a voice behind somewhere.

" Go ahead Sweety, sign them on" his voice echoed through the entire hall. There was a pin drop silence when his voice came out and we all looked in his direction.

There he came with his eyes glistening with a void expression. I stood silent. He came and stood beside me. With his hands on mine he pressed them gently ,

"Just sign them Sweety!!!" he repeated.  As far as I remember he didn't like to repeat yet he did. May be I have to I understood the tension in the situation. I took the pen and signed them on.

"As there is no proper explanation and evidence this company is seized by the ministry of health and family affairs. we will meet at the court, Mr Chaudhary"he finally made the final statement. Our company is seized and we need to go to the court and if there is no proper evidence from our side the judgement is finalised that this company will permanently be seized.

"Neeraj take her home!!!" my dad's voice brought me back.

No I didn't wanna go home I have to talk to my dad I knew how he might be feeling then.

"But Dad..." He lift his hand which shut me up. I had to go home. I went home with Neeraj . I didn't speak much I just couldn't. It was all because of my incompetence. I felt it. It was huge responsibility that dad gave me and what I did... I just spoiled everything. I didn't eat too that day I was not hungry. Until and unless I talk to dad and clear out my emotions I couldn't do it. I waited for him , he didn't come home that day. Disappointed I went to my room and stood at the balcony staring the stars as I couldn't sleep too.

moments later foot steps were heard,

"What's bothering my Chotti??"

I turned to see him with a calm and composed expression that nothing has happened.

"How are you this calm Neeraj..... our entire company was seized and there seems no probability that we are gonna win in court too.... that.. that damned doomed person provided strong proofs..... I wonder where did he find them..... I believe in dad that he is not upto anything wrong and we have to prove that the accusations are entirely false but how we are gonna and dad.... how he might be feeling now and where is he... I couldn't keep up my position..... and proved him wrong "I started rambling everything without a comma and a full stop.

"Chotti...." he pulled me placing his both hands on my shoulders looking me directly.

"Calm down... Chotti....." I started panting slowly and tried to calm myself down and he placed his palm on my eyes.
