Unpredictable life

[Chapter - XXII ]

Early in the morning , there was a quiet slow knock on the door of Natasha's room...

Natasha woke up just now.. She stretched and wiped her eyes... Yawning she looked at the clock 5.30 am... She was confused as who is knocking the door so early in the morning...

But after a single knock the sound disappeared... So Natasha ran to open the door to see a girl's back... She is walking away from the room..

So Natasha called out " Hey , who are you , why did you knock the door ,do you want something?? "

The girl stood frozen in her place... Natasha was waiting for her reply patiently... After sometime the girl turned to face Natasha... It was none other than Jeni... Eyes red , guilt and shame ridden in her face... She couldn't look at Natasha... She looked at her feet...

Natasha pitied her situation and called her inside the room... They both walked inside the room and sat on the chairs... Natasha walked to make some coffee for both of them... Jeni was sitting silently and observing Natasha...

Natasha handed Jeni some coffee " here have some coffee" and sat beside her...

Natasha was keenly watching Jeni who is dying in guilt in front of her... Natasha felt sad for her so she started talking.. " Jeni , it's ok you can tell me what is making you suffer like this I won't judge you... Even if you don't want to say anything it's ok just drink this coffee with me and relax... Everything will be alright... "

On hearing this Jeni started crying... Natasha was shocked at her sudden burst out... She placed her hand on Jeni hand saying.. " Hey , Iam sorry if I have hurted you , please don't cry..."

Jeni looked at Natasha unbelievably " what ! No no Natasha , you did nothing but being considerate towards me... Iam the one who made me come to this situation... Iam the one who behaved cruel to you... That's why I couldn't even look at you... Yesterday after saying all those you walked away silently as if it's nothing but I realized that you are far far higher than me in your character Natasha.., Actually I am not the one qualified to be a competitor againt you as my father said... " saying this she looked away

Natasha said smiling " Jeni you're making a mistake again even now you don't understand that there is no need for character and status in a competion... All you want to participate in a competition is your talent and you are talented , so stop judging people... Nobody is higher than you and is lower than you everyone are different... Anyway so now tell me, what did your father say.... "

Jeni sobbed saying my father asked me to come home and not participate in the competition... He won't watch all these competition but someone from company told him about you and your talent and he is now fearing that if I did not win this competition that may bring a bad name to his reputation... So he is asking me to drop out from competition and he will manage the media saying that I am not intrested in singing and I participated just for fun... "

Natasha was listening to her silently and asked " Mmm... So, are you going to leave the competition ? "

Jeni quickly looked at Natasha saying " No, Natasha that is the problem, I may look like having fun with those girls around me and iam, but when it comes to singing iam so passionate about it... I want participate even if I fail... I don't want to leave the competition , but... But.. My father does not ready to hear anything I say... I don't know what to do now" saying this she looked upset... Tears forming...

Natasha thought for sometime abd said... " Jeni , there is no other way, you have to stand up for what you want... He is your father Jeni.. He will understand and he have to... Untill that you have to prove how passionate you are there is no other go... We have three days time before our next competition so go to your home , make him understand and come back... "

There goes my best friend she will always be right... A sudden slow familiar male voice interrupted there conversation , hearing that voice Natasha remained frozen... Jeni turned to look at the door and was shocked... Tears flowing through Natasha's eyes slowly turned to the door crying... She was her her dream... Her long lost happiness again after all these years she couldn't control her emotion after seeing her best friend sitting in a wheel chair covered with bandages... Smiling at her with hands wide open, she can't understand if all this were dream or not... There was Ajay grinning widely behind him.. Along with Raksha , I ran to them asking is this true or a dream... They were smiling suddenly i felt a slight pain in my hand... I looked down and yes there was Vimal sitting in a wheel chair... Saying... " Hey idiot, iam sitting here for you, what are looking at, come here... "

Natasha started crying with happiness " Vi... Vimal... So are you really here, so this is not a dream... Please say its not a dream please... "

Vimal looked at her smiling " its not a dream bunny, iam really here.. Thank you for praying for me.. "

Natasha quickly hugged him saying " Oh! Shut up you stupid... Off course I'll pray for you... I missed you Vimal... I scared so much thinking that I will lose you... I missed you "

Vimal smiled a little with tears but quickly wiped it and started acting as though he was in pain... " Ahhhhhhh.... " everyone were scared and Natasha quickly breaked the hug asking " What!!? What... What happened... "

Vimal shouted again.. " AHH.... Its aching ,why did you hug me so tight my limbs broke now and eww your tears wetted my bandages... "

Natasha was confused and immediately " Oh... Sorry , I was so excited that I forgot " her face was so sad... Vimal smiled at her softly " Oh... Bunny , I was playing with you... I missed you too "

Suddenly Ajay interrupted " Hello we are also here... When are planning to invite us in and introduce me... Ajay asked curiously making everyone smile... Natasha quickly apologized and invited everyone inside the room and made them sit... She ran to bring some water for everyone and Raksha helped her bring snacks...

All sat in the living room... Vimal looked around him and looked at Natasha and smiled saying" So all these years someone is busy making friends uh? Are you going to introduce me to them? "

Natasha looked at him smiling um... But Ajay interrupted them saying " Oh not again, you are very famous here bro... Natasha always speaks about you.. If we know her, its means we know you too " every gathered together and said " Yessssssssss , we all know your great friendship history... "

This made Natasha and Vimal smile... Natasha looked at him smiling " that's true... There is no past for me without you and your family... So when they want my past all I say is you... and yeah where is your parents " Vimal slowly said they went on a business trip last month and they don't know about any of this... I asked my assistant to not to inform them when I was hit by truck...

Oh.. Any way you are back safe that is enough for me, So yeah let me introduce others to you...
This is Ajay , Raksha and oh yeah Jeni my few friend said this smiling at her... " Ajay and Raksha looked confused at Natasha introducing Jeni as a friend... Jeni looked shocked at hear Natasha to introduce her as her friend...

Vimal looked at Raksha and Ajay who is looking confused and disappointed and asks why?? What are they going to reply
