Stay Positive?

Chapter one

  Hey! So this is the first official chapter! The song doesn't really fit the mood but i like it a lot and its kinda sad so i put it in here. Levi will not appear yet but soon.
So with that said... Here ya go!

Oh and this is all a very long Flashback until i say so.

Life is sad.

I was just fifteen and I can remember it as if  it was just yesterday.

I was fighting with my parents over nothing as I suddenly decided to run away. I packed a small backpack with a change of clothes, my phone a few snacks. Walking and walking the middle of the night on a small path in the forest behind our house when an unpleasant smell hit my nose. It was one of the smells I hoped to never smell.

The smell of burning wood.

First I was unsure if I should go back and check what had happened but I decided against it. Only as the terrible smell got stronger and I saw huge clouds of smoke in the night sky, I dropped my bag and ran back. I was exactly at that age where I made reckless decisions without thinking about the consequences.

And then? I was standing in front of the demonic fire. Alone

My family's two story house stood in bright flames. Hearing my parents screams of despair as they were slowly nearing their death, trapped inside our burning home. I frantically looked for my phone as it hit me. It was in my Backpack.

That I dropped in the forest.

I screamed and screamed while running to get my phone. Unfortunately we lived on the countryside and our house was the only one for at least for several kilometres, so there was no chance someone would hear me. Still I screamed and screamed, tears running down my face as I continued to run.

There it was! I fell to my knees and grabbed my phone instantly dialed 911.
''Hello? What's the emergency?''asked the who an on the other side of the line.

My voice was barely audible with my sobbing and I struggled to form any words but somehow I managed to bring the message over. "P-please! H-help us! M-my familiy's house is b-burning!!
A-and my parents are trapped inside!! Please! P-please help me..." I cried into the phone.

After telling the lady all the information she needed she said she would send help and hung up.

Right there I decided to do something myself. Twigs and leafs crunched under my feet as I ran the long way back got our house. Finally there, standing in front of the huge fire, I didn't waste a second thought and ran inside.

All the smoke made my eyes burn and the heat made it unbearable but still, I continued to run. Following the screams of my family I ran up the staircase to the master bedroom of my parents.

There I saw them. Lying on the ground. Together. Finally at Peace.

Without me.

That was a little depressing-
Sorry that Levi didn't appear yet. He might come in a few chapters but right now i need to fill in a bit of background.
