A New Beginning: Book 2

Codex of Alfea

Dark Bloom was walking in the hallway to Miss. Faragonda when she heard voices. 

"Creatures of Darkar, rise!" She said and some formed outside. "Um, girls!" Musa pointed outside. 

"Come on!" Stella yelled. The five ran out. Dark Bloom turned herself invisable and watched as they ran out. 

Dark Bloom walked in still with the invisable spell on. 

"We need to locate Bloom, Miss. Grizelda, go look for her" Miss. Faragonda said and Miss. Grizelda left. 

Dark Bloom suddenly appeared in front of Miss. Faragonda. "Bloom" She gasped. 

"It's Dark Bloom, now" 

"This isn't you! You've been tricked and spelled" She said. Dark Bloom laughed. "I wasn't tricked, I'm better being evil! Give me the Codex, NOW!" 

"Never, I will not give it" 

Dark Bloom laughed at her. "Dark Control!" Dark Bloom blasted Miss. Faragonda and her eyes turned a light green. 

"Where's the Codex?" Dark Bloom asked. "Inside Alfea's heart" Miss. Faragonda said. "Where is that?" She asked. 

Miss. Faragonda walked to her mirror and waved her hand and it formed a door. "Memory Erase" Dark Bloom blasted Miss. Faragonda down and out of the spell, and erased her memory. 

Dark Bloom flew down the stairs and walked until she saw a huge glowing, pink heart spinning in a circle. 

"Ugh! To pretty" Dark Bloom groaned. "Dark Dragon Fire!" Dark Bloom formed a black smoke like dragon behind her. 

"Destroy that!" 

The dragon swirled around it and it stopped spinning and the glow faded. 

Suddenly a flash of white and pink formed and a oval like rock, just like Cloud Tower and Pixie Village appeared. 

She flew up and grabbed it. "Ha, take that, Alfea" Dark Bloom laughed and went back to Miss. Faragonda's office. 

She looked out the window and saw the Winx still fighting. "Darkar" She called and formed from dark red slime. 

"You get it?" 

"Yes, master, the Codex of Alfea" Bloom handed it to him. "Yes! I have everything, now" He laughed. 

"Master!" Dark Bloom said and formed a black flaming shield from a spell. "Bloom! He's evil, your not!" Stella yelled. 

"You think your strong?" Dark Bloom asked. "Ivy Vines!" Flora formed vines that wrapped around Dark Bloom. 

"Really?" Dark Bloom yawned and blasted them. "Harmonic Wave!" 

Dark Bloom grabbed the spell and blasted it in flames. "Your weak!" 

"Why do our powers feel weaker?" Aisha asked. 

Darkar laughed at them. "Destroy them" He said and disappered. 

Tecna flew over to Miss. Faragonda. "Miss. Faragonda?" Tecna asked.

"Your not evil!" Stella said. Dark Bloom chuckled. "I am! This is the new and better Bloom!" 

"No! You can and won't be evil! You have a heart of gold! You are loyal, kind, and never rude including being evil!" Flora said. 

"You really think that'll stop me?" 

"Dark Dragon Fire! Destroy them!" 

A blast of light hit Dark Bloom down. "What?!" Dark Bloom yelled and fell to the ground. 

Her outfit flashed back to Bloom's normal colors. "Professor Avalon, oh thank you" Musa said. 

"Bloom?" Aisha asked. "What...where?" 

"Miss. Faragonda?" Tecna asked as she woke up. "Girls? What happened?" She asked. "You don't remember?" 

"No..." 

"Why does she seem weak?" Aisha asked. "Winx? What happened?" 

"Someone called, Darkar, turned you dark...your okay now" Avalon said. 

"Girls, why is Alfea falling apart?" Flora said looking out the window. "The Heart of Alfea, that is where the Codex is" Miss. Faragonda said. 

"It's inside the mirror" 

The Winx touched it and stairs formed. 

Bloom slowly stood up. Miss. Faragonda did the same. They all went down and saw a huge heart still, not glowing. 

"The Codex has been taken" Miss. Faragonda said. "What will happen now?" Avalon asked. "This is Alfea's power mostly, without it...Alfea will fall" 

"How can we save it?" Flora asked. 

"This is my fault" Bloom said. "Bloom, no" Tecna said. 

Bloom walked up and touched it. It glowed a dim pink and white. 

"It's responding to your touch, Bloom, it knows you have the Dragon Fire" 

"Dragon Fire!" Bloom called out and a red flaming dragon formed. "Heal the Heart of Alfea!" Bloom said and her dragon swirled it and it glowed red, orange, pink, and white. 

A sudden flash made everyone close their eyes and once they opened them back up, the heart was spinning and glowing normally but with orange glow. 

"You have healed the heart and it holds some of the fire, I'm positive those creatures can't get in with the Dragon Fire making a shield" Tecna said. 

There were them six flashes of gems that flew onto each Winx. 

"Girls, the Heart has given you a gift for saving Alfea and brining it back, you were given the Charmix Gems that boost your normal Charmix" Miss. Faragonda said.
