Chapter 8

Blair's POV

I sat at the little desk in the corner of the room where Kamryn, Karina and Katirah were staying. They had a house I don't understand why they are staying in a hotel but whatever you do you boo boo. After taking a seat I spun around and looked at Karina.

"Ok so what needs to be translated?" I asked as Karina and Kamryn looked at me. Kamryn hands me a book that immediately knew was a book of shadows. As I took hold of the leather wrapped pages I felt a burst of energy flood through me like I had never felt before. This book was beautiful and powerful. I opened the front cover to see the name Genevieve. Hm I have an aunt named Genevieve. I shrug that thought off and continue flipping through the pages.

"I found it in my attic" Karina said I nodded but have become way too immersed in reading the pages "there is only one page that I felt drawn to..." she said as she go up and flipped my to a page that had a memory spell on it I nodded and started to read it.

"Lost memories" I read the title of the page and continued to the actual spell work.

"To remove one's memory you must mix salt with a wilting rose and the feather of a phoenix

then you blow it into the subjects face and it will keep their memory suppressed until they are fully matured and their memory will come back in the form of dreams until it is fully restored"

I read the passage aloud there was a fine print at the bottom.

"Spell can be reversed by purest lineage"

I finished reading the page I looked over to Karina who was zoned out probably really deep in thought I then look at kamryn and she is the same way. 'What the fuck?' I ask myself I look to Katirah seeing her laying on the bed, I'm surprised she isn't awake yet. I look back at the sisters sitting on the couch now becoming worried. I walk over to them and snap my fingers in Karina's face and she shakes her head then looks at me so does kamryn.

"I'm sorry were you saying something?" Karina asked I looked at her confused but before I could respond katirah shoots up in the bed gasping for air. Karina jumps up and rush's over to her

"Are you ok? What happened yesterday, why did you pass out like that? W..." she was cut off by Katirah holding up her hand.

"Shhhhh" she said Karina nodded and sat back.

"I saw... some weird..... shit" Katirah said " let me rephrase" she was acting as if she couldn't stay awake.

"I did some weird shit yesterday" she almost panted ou.t

"What do you mean?" Kamryn asked

"Well I went for a nature walk when you were having mood swings yesterday and I ran across this stone circle full of gorgeous flowers so I sat in the middle of it and smoked well this lady came creeping up on me and I don't know how or where I learned to do it by I flipped her like she was nothing." she whispered the last part and something in my head clicked.

"What if...." I said and they all looked at me "and hear me out on this but what if... you guys aren't human" I said slowly and cautiously they all looked at each other then back at me.

"What the fuck do you mean not human?" Kamryns exclaimed looking at me as if I grew a second and third head.

"I mean..." I started but Katirah cut me off.

"Well... I mean that would explain the last couple days" she said with a confused and thoughtful look on her face Karina wore the same face.

"HOW?, HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT EXPLAIN ANYTHING!?" Kamryn was now shouting.

"Well the weird shit that happened yesterday? Well the lady I saw said she was from a pack? and that I was trespassing" she said "I also ... growled? At her" she continued looking more confused.

"Well in this book as I'm sure you have seen there are many pages explaining the things that go bump in the night" I said "and I promise you.... all of them are real" I said with warning in my voice.

"Look,you girls are in a lot deeper water than you think because everything in that book?"I said holding it up and pointing at it " is way stronger, smarter, older, and more clever then any human. I should know I too am in the book" i said with a proud smile

They all looked at me Katirah looked angry Karina looked confused and Kamryn well she looked scared and that broke my heart.

"I'm a witch" I said to end the suspense and everyone suddenly seemed to understand that if I wanted to hurt them I would have.

"Ok so if you think we aren't human what do you think we are?" Katirah asked.

I scratched my head "Well I'm not sure normally we could tell from your lineage but you all don't remember anything probably because of this spell which by the way is VERY difficult to make and if you were all supernatural normally you would have transformed or been granted a power at 16 but you guys didn't? So I'm assuming that the spell you were exposed to was altered to also make your supernatural half dormant until full maturity."

"Okay sooo how do we figure out what we are?" Karina asked

"Wait so you guys are actually going to entertain this?" Kamryn asked completely taken by surprised that her sisters believe me.

Ignoring kamryn I replied to Karina "Well there is a blood testing kit my grandmother has that I can run on y'all it'll take a couple days but that's absolutely an option" I said kamryn rolled her eyes and sat on the couch.

"Yeah let's do that" Katirah said with a sleepy smile that reminded me.

"Oh by the way yesterday you probably came across a Stoney henge and they are known for their magic increasing capabilities so you probably got a taste of your other form yesterday while you were in it. So that's why you would be tired it used a lot of energy to do what you described so if I had to bet you are a werewolf" I said not 100% certain of my hypothesis but that's what the test is for

Her eyes widened "wow!! If you had to guess, what are my sisters?" She asked.

"Well normally it's genetic so if your wolf then they should also be as well unless y'all came from different dads then it could vary but wolves normally have 1 mate and several kids from that person so that's not likely." I said and she nodded.
