Seeing kamryn walk in with a stranger was..... strange, kamryn was always the most introvert of the 3 of us but she was also the sweetest. I can proudly claim the bitchiest title and Karina well she is definitely the wisest. Even tho Karina  was only a year and some change older then I am she still acted like a mom to kam and I so when either of us are late she gets antsy. I could feel the relief rolling off of her seeing kamryn is home ok but if was replaced with confusion and curiosity once she seen the girl with her.

"So.... where have you been?" Karina asked in a motherly tone

"Well I forgot that today I was going to need a ride cause my regular ride had to go to work today" she said as she shrugged "so my new friend Blair offered to give me a ride home" she finished as I looked at the girl on her left, she was quite intriguing....Borderline cute. I catch myself checking her out and look back to kamryn who was oblivious, I chuckle to myself

"I'm sorry ma'am I had to go and check on my grand mother after class before I could bring kamryn home, it is my fault she is late" Blair said her voice was a little higher pitched but raspy it was very attractive.

'She is at least 20 right' I asked myself

"Oh it's ok hun I'm not her mother just the over protective eldest sister I was just worried that's all, we really need to get you a phone little miss." Karina said before smiling and looking back to the tv while standing up "well Blair why don't you stay for dinner? We have been waiting for kamryn but I can set a place for you" she asked as she opened the door to the kitchen

I get up and follow suit I give Blair a wink as I walk by "please do join us karina's cooking is Divine" I said and went to my place at the table. Kamryn looked at Blair questionably and Blair looked at kam and smiled

"Sure why not my grandmother insists I make new friends" she said as she walked into the kitchen behind kamryn and sitting next to her as Karina sets her a plate.

"Blair your grandmother is right being social is a very good trait to have it could be useful in many different ways" Karina said absent mindedly Blair looked confused at first then nodded.

"Well I'm not very good at talking to people so it's going to be a hard trait to develop" she said with a chuckle

The room fell silent as we all ate after 20 minutes I had scarfed down my food and realized I was the first done. Damn. We have a rule the first done(with the exception of the cook) does dishes... I was done first a lot. Either way I stated picking up cleared plates, silverware, and empty cups as Karina tales with Kamryn and Blair. I didn't pay much attention to what was being said.

"Katirah!" Kamryn exclaimed from behind me I jumped and turned around and looked at her with my brows raised

"Yes impatient child" I said sarcastically

"We have been talking to you for like 3 minutes" she said with concern I shrug

"Oops" I said "what's up?" I asked trying to figure out what they were talking to me about

"Well we said that my birthday was gonna be soon and I wanted to maybe...." Kamryn started mumbling and trailed off till she wasn't talking anymore
